Has anyone else had the problem trying to load careerbuilder.com on their mac and getting the following message:
Safari is no longer responding because of a script on the webpage Jobs - "The Largest Job Search, Employment & Careers Site" (http://www.careerbuilder.com/). Do you want to stop running the script, or let it continue? This just started about a week ago. How can I correct this?
I have never had a problem before but, recently, my gmail isn't working with the mail application. I can see sent messages, but the mailbox no longer downloads mail from gmail. My inbox looks empty on the application even but, I logged into gmail on google and all the inbox messages were there.

View 13 Replies View RelatedSafari on my iMac just started doing this strange thing where it repeatedly loads particular webpages before crashing and I get the message "Safari quit unexpectedly". Any ideas what I can do to stop this? I've already tried resetting Safari which has cleared my history and the cache and deleted all cookies.

Ever since the last security update, I have been having trouble with the text in part of a web page becoming garbled. It happens when I am scrolling through a page. I can fix it by highlighting the text and it will go away. It remains legible after I take the highlighting away. It does not happen every time I scroll, but it does happen randomly throughout the day. I have owned my Macbook for almost a year and this problem has only come up since the last security update.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI often find myself searching for a piece of text that I wrote myself within a webpage. For example, when writing a long email in gmail, I want to look for a certain word I wrote somewhere in the middle. Firefox dynamically includes all the text that is present on the page (as opposed to just what's in the source of the page) and I'm wondering if there is a way to do that with Safari.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI heard about a software a few weeks ago where you could set it up so that a certain link always opens in a certain browser. I didn't need it at the time, but now I could really use it, and I can't remember what it was called!
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have uninstalled and reinstalled flash player and i have installed the latest java and still every time i try to load the hulu website i get this: an extremely simplified version of the web page. All that it shows are the thumbnails of the episodes and the text with some links and all of it is to the left of the web page, the background and other features such as their moving preview thing are not there.

How do you prevent Safari from opening to the previous webpage? This gets me into trouble when I move from one wifi place (home, hospital office) to another. Can I adjust it so it just opens to the homepage the way it did before I switched to Lion OS?

I would like to know if there is a way to display all of the hot spots or Links on a Safari web page in OSX. In other words is there a possible key combination that will highlight all of the active spots on a page at one time.

It's very very high which causes my mac working load all of a sudden. Once l quit it - the noise goes away. Then l reopen Safari it starts again... In addition youtube is working extremly slow.. when l click to play a video the buffering wheel stops and the whole site hangs... the video gets unsynched with audio and loads extremly slow stopping constantly... I tried deleteing cache, history, website data even reinstalled flash.

At the moment I have removed Acrobat Reader 10.3.1 because it conflicts with Safari. Preview is a perfectly fine pdf reader (and with lots of very nice features) but I don't see how I can make Preview open a pdf from a web page until it has been downloaded to file. And I have found at least one site that will not download to file before opening.

I don't get any error message, just a blank page showing nothing. I don't get no time-out message or anything. I have Mac OS 10.5.8 and Safari 5.0.2 and I have tried deleting the cookies and resetting the cache.
Besides I also noticed that while trying to load [URL] the page won't load but I can see the source code.
When I open up safari, every webpage works. But, randomly www.--------.net loads up blank. Reloading does not help either. Every other page works still. The only way I can fix it is to force quit safari and then reload the program...I have tried deleting the com.apple.safari.plist and the only extension I use is LastPass.
View 5 Replies View Relatedhere's the issue, when i open a new tab and go to a website, i then wait for it to load, while it does load, i go onto the other tabs, but then when i go back to the tab that was loading, i get this message/error saying that the website cannot be found etc. as if there is no internet connection. i then click on refresh and it loads up the page just fine. this only happens when i go onto the other websites and don't wait for the new tab to load. why does this happen? it is very frustrating. i already reseted safari numerous times and im still having the same issue.

I am trying to access a website [URL] and in Safari I receive "Safari can't find the server" error message. In mozilla I am able to goto the home page but if I click on any of the links I receive "server not found" error message. I have not run into this problem with any other sites and was wondering why this is happening.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI had saved a webpage on the Safari Reading List. I pulled it up, read a little, and saw it disappeared from the Reading List. I had ot finished reading it, so I decided to re-save it to the list, but the Add Page button on the Reading List window was greyed out. Nothing I did would change the greyed out button to make it functional.
