OS X V10.7 Lion :: Attach Picture File To Emails?

Jun 26, 2012

I am stumped as to why I can't figure this out.  I have been trying to send an email to someone that needs a picture as an attachment.  Every time I click on the attachment icon or button in the menu, it puts the picture in the body of the email.  She needs to have it as an attachment that she can download onto her computer.  There has to be a way to do this, I am just not figuring it out.  Could someone please give me some insight?  I have tried saving to a file and attaching it from there, tried view image as an icon, but nothing seems to  be working.  She also needs it in a bigger file, which I think will be solved once I can attach the file without being in the body of the text.  How would I make a bigger file, from 131 KB to say 400 KB?

OS X V10.7 Lion :: Mail : Missing Sub-folders In File Cabinet?

May 10, 2012

After a problem with my "old" MacBook Pro, I have just bought a new one with OSX 10.7.3 Lion and Mail 5.2.  I was able to move almost everything over with the Migration Assistant and recovered almost all the remaining from my cloud backup at Carbonite.  So far so good.

However, in mail, some (not all) sub-folders in the file cabinet do not appear.  I redid the restore from Carbonite but they still do not appear.Tried doing a rebuild of the File Cabinet and the folders within it but aparently that does nothing.

My assumption is that the are there in the folders of mboxes but, since the Library is now hidden from view, I can not look to verify if the mailboxes are there. What do I do to get them visible?

Mac OS X Lion Server :: Web-mail Not Working Since Installing File-maker Server 12?

Apr 18, 2012

Since installing Filemaker Server 12 on our Lion Server 10.7.3, the Webmail is no longer working. I know with previous installations of Filemaker Server I have been asked whether I wanted to keep the system version of PHP or install PHP which comes with Filemaker Server, but I don't recall being prompted about it on this occasion. Previously I had always opted to retain the system PHP.

[code]...

And from the WAN I get just a screen saying webmail is turned off and that I can turn it on by using the Server app on the server (It is already checked in the server app).
