For some reason when I make a video it wont let me e-mail it, even if the video is 2 -3 minutes long. I have tried compressing the video and everything else I can think of. Right now I am having to put it on my iDisk and sending an e-mail out to the person so they can receive it. Is their any other way to e-mail a video?
I own a Sony Cyber-shot camera, and a 24 inch IMAC computer. I took a short video clip and downloaded it to Iphoto (no problem doing that). I then downloaded the clip to a 4 gpb flash drive, as an mp4 video. My problem is that my friends Microsoft based PC can't play it.
Is there a way to take a picture of video clip from the web? I am trying to pull a pic of a video file, a single frame. Is there an app, or a really easy way to crop and save a photo to my library?
i just downloaded a video clip on itunes tonight the 1st of April 2012, Lil Wayne, Bed Rock with Young Money and it stops alone at 1mn08. I bought it 1,79€ but i do not mind about the price, i just want to watch it and be able to get it!
I have lots of video to play, one day I couldn't play my video without quitting iTunes first. Now whenever I want to play a video, I need to quit iTunes because I didn't quit from after the previous time that I was playing a video clip from my library. I have reinstalled iTunes without effect.

-Downloaded a movie from a torrent site (Dont shoot me, I rented it like 6 times)... -After download was complete, i opened it up... -it was an .mp4 file and it played in Quicktime and I could see it AND hear it, everythings' fine... -I drag the file into iMovie HD... -After the clip (or movie) was imported I played it and it doesn't show video, i can only hear it.
ive been wondering what it could be, i upgraded to quicktime pro to try and convert it to .mov and still, same thing happened...
I'm new to the Mac software and would like to know how to match your music track length to your video clip in your imovie09 project. I have looked everywhere and can't find how to do it.
When I import video from my Creative's Vado HD Pocket Video camcorder on a month old MacBook Pro the video files in each event are black. They have no image. When I click on them I can see the video but I would prefer to see an image which makes identifying each video much easier.
Is there anything I can do so that I can see an image?
I have a Canon Powershot digital video camera. I've take a large video clip - not sure how long exactly as I just let it run during my kids school play. I've got an 8GB chip in. I now can't download the clip using either iPhoto or the software that came with the camera.
I did a shoot with audio on a green screen stage. I have some video clips of my actors shot on a RED Scarlett in 4K 29.97.I have audio clips recorded on a Zoom H4 with a boom mic at 16 bit 44.1 khz.Â
I take the 2 clips in FCP X and I create a synchronized clip. The video clip doesn't have an audio channel so I have to manually sync using the slate. I have the correct audio clip and the correct video clip, but the audio clip is longer than the video clip. It's just running a tad slower than the video clip. I tried creating a project in 44.1khz instead of 48khz and FCP X didn't treat it any differently.
I'm not too technically savvy when it comes to computers. I do amateur video editing with Final Cut Pro. I purchased a Mac Mini (2.0ghz, 1GB RAM, base model) and it's taking forever to render my 1.8gb clip. I think total render time with some music is about 1.5 hours as opposed to my old computer (a 2.4ghz penryn mbp, 2gb ram) which would do it in maybe 10 minutes I'd assume. My question to you all is, is my unit defective? Will upping the ram increase the clock speed or am I way in over my head purchasing this unit?
my Final Cut Pro 10.1.3 is crashing when I try to edit a simple 2 minute video clip.I have been doing a web video series for over 2 months now uploading videos every day - with no problems using this same workflow but now I am stuck and have a deadline coming up in 24 hours.Â
I shoot with a Sony EX-3 camera using SxS cards which create XDCAM-EX files and I bring these into FCP via a Sony SxS external Thunderbolt reader, edit and share to Facebook. I have an orange LaCie Thunderbolt drive that store my Library and Project files.  I have done this 70+ days in a row w/ zero problems.  Now, any time I try to get tomorrow's video ready, FCP crashes
I re-start FCP, my Mac (I use a new MacBook Pro that works seamlessly).I run latest Mavericks OS.The only different thing that happened otherwise is I got some TuneUpMyMac freeware on my Mac when I restart which I never chose to get and cannot delete this because it doesn't show up and I am concerned it is a virus that is messing up FCPÂ
I'm importing 720p HD video from my new digicam, a Panasonic DMC-ZS3. After importing the video into iMovie, the speed of replay is way too fast (2-3x normal speed). I think it may have something to do with the fact that I'm downloading 720p and somehow the progressive scan is confusing iMovie: [URL]
Talking about wild audio tracks not directly related to video clips.Â
I find I want to attach a particular audio clip to a different video clip (given that without tracks it has to be attached to SOMETHING). Is there a way to move an audio clips affiliation to an alternate video clip? Especially without having to drag it out of place to do so?Â
Which leads to another question: is there any way to freeze an audio clip in place? Â

This looks to be the first professional review of the new MBP line among all the big tech sites. The most interesting tidbits is a 17% increase in battery life over previous gen uMB, and new display looks quite good in the video.
When I sync one audio file with one video file the video file is always placed in the primary storyline and the audio file is always placed under it. And the new syncronised clip is named afte the video file.Â
when I sync multiple audio files to one video file. It seems to be random what file endsup in the primary storyline of the new compound clip, most of the time is seems to be one of the audio files. This is troublesom as the syncing acuracy is then limited to the frame as the smallest incrament of adgustment. Also, it menas I have to manualy change the names of my now syncronised clips as the names are not consistant making sorting dificult. (This all results in a lot of time spent fixing this behavoir and realy dampens the advantages of the sync feature.)Â
the video should not be the primary track in a new syncrosnised compound clip and I can't find any link between my behavoir and the resulting choise of which tile is the primary sortyline track.
Since upgrading to Snow Leopard, I can no longer import P2 footage. I get the stop sign and error: no data.In the import window I can play the clip and everything is fine, but when I add to the clip to the import queue it just times out.
Any thoughts? Is it somehow related to Quicktime being updated by Snow Leopard?

I just got leopard with my friend and for some reason, iChat wont let us do video chat or screen sharing. I keep getting the message that i didn't respond or that he didn't respond. He was at my house a few days ago and iChat worked perfectly. Is this a bug or is something wrong with my router?. Will it be fixed in a future update?
I have a folder with vdeos on my desktop. I want to share this across users so that they can access it on their account. How can I do this? I had tried creating an alias and putting it in my public folder but that did not work.
how can I disable the memory sharing with the graphic card? it makes me impossible to run a software, grandMA2, on windows 7 installed and run via bootcamp. where should I look for changing the preferences of memory and video, on lion or on windows7?
I've noticed that I have to turn off Internet Sharing in order to video chat with my friends on iChat AV 4.0.3. Is there anyway possible that I don't have to always turn off Internet Sharing to have video chats? Regular text chatting works fine when Internet Sharing is turned on, but not video chat.
I have an "early 2009" mini. I hooked it up to my HD TV through a Sony amp that acts as an HDMI switch. It works great until I switch to a different component (e.g. satellite receiver). When I switch back to the mini there is no video or audio. Screen sharing is also disabled: I can't access the mini from another Mac. Oddly, I can use the iphone Remote app to operate iTunes and send output through AirPlay. I could also access its shared files through the network. I've tried hdmireviver. It works for a while, but when the mini is not selected by the HDMI switch for more than 15 minutes or so, it fails. Do later models of the mini work more congenially with an HDMI switch?
I have just purchased a new iMac with Leopard. I already own a MBP with Tiger and I am trying to shares files between the two. The MBP connects to iMac and shows files easy as...however I have enabled sharing on iMac when I choose Network it recognises the MBP but always says connecting and after a few minutes shows connection failed.
I have two users defined on my macbook (one is New, and the other one, the Old one, is what I've always had).I was re-configuring File Sharing on the Old user.I turned files sahring off in the Old User, but when I log into the New, I can still acess to some folders that I have never set to be shared; only few folders have the red restricted access on it. The New User does have file sharing disabled, and non of its folder can be accessed; so, it's working Ok for this New User.Â
