I want to purchase some high quality music videos on the iTunes store. Then I want to store them on a USB drive which will be used to upload the music videos to my BMW iDrive system. Can this be done?

Since my iMac hard drive space (2 terabite) is almost half-full of the Movies I have in my iTunes, I would like to be able to set up my iTunes to store and play the movies from an external hard drive.I just bought a 4 terabite G-Drive for doing this.I would also like to be able to view the movies on my two differant Apple TV's.

I have recently bought a new laptop to use whilst travelling. I have downloaded iTunes to it and bought some new bits. But I have a lot of films on my iMac and would like to copy or move those over to my laptop, but I'm not sure how to do it. I've tried plugging in an external hard drive and clicking and dragging to it, but it hasn't worked.

Now Since I own the movie, can I move the movie to my wife's version of itunes (residing on a difference computer) so she can load it and watch it on her iphone? the only work around is see for this it to buy the DVD at a store, and use something like DVD-to-iPhone to make a copy.

Even on my MBP when listening to music from iTunes. But Movies in iTunes don't work. The AirPlay icon in a movie playing in iTunes only shows "computer" and doesn't show any other options.

So, I went into iTunes Perferences --> Advanced, and set the library to a new, empty folder on the new drive. Nothing changed. I expected all my music to vanish from iTunes, so that I would have to re-import it. However, all the music remained, still on the old disk. At this point, if I were to recreate the library on the new disk, I would have all of my music twice. Is it possible to move an iTunes library from one external drive to another, or am I stuck with my original choice until I buy a new machine? If I can move it, can one of you clever folks explain how it could be done?

I have a massive library and if I get a mac I will need to copy the library to my external hard drive from my pc then copy it again to the mac. How could I do this without losing my playlists, rating etc? And also if you have all your photos in iPhoto can you access them without opening iPhoto? If you can how? Since this doesn't have much storage i recently moved my entire 40Gb iPhoto onto an external drive. This worked great and love the new storage i have on my mac.
I plug my GoPro into my mac and it imports the photos onto the iPhoto on my external drive.
However the problem occurs when i try get those new photos onto my iPhone, i plug it in and go to photos on my phone in iTunes and it only shows my old iPhoto stuff, so i can't get those new photos across to my iPhone. I've tried the choose file option and chosen external drive but i doesn't seem to work?

Basically, I have some videos on my iPhone I bought from iTunes, which are also on the hard drive of my battery-looks-to-be-dead iBook G4. I want to copy the videos onto iTunes on my new MacBook Pro but the only option in iTunes seems to be to transfer content the other way around. Basically I have Futurama I purchased on my iPhone and want to put it on my MBP- how do I do this? I can find oodles of information for transferring in the opposite direction, but nothing for what I want to do.

It keeps stopping saying that it cant move certain files then it stops the transferring process altogether. I've tried moving it several times but it keeps failing on me. Anyone have an idea as to why it keeps stopping the transfer on me?
