I have about 150 contacts that I want to export as individual vCard files. Is there a way to export them like this in one go? i.e. select 150 contacts in the contacts app, select export, press some other key ( perhaps Option ) and have it create 150 cards.

I just switched from Mobile Me to gmail. No annual fee and I would have had to BUY A NEW MAC to update to the "cloud" at the end of the month (that is another story). Gmail will not "take" my contacts from mobile me, though i am following all the steps.

I have not touched WINDOWS in 9 years so please don't suggest anything that has anything to do with Windows. I am a MAC user.
Being forced to use OFFICE in this Word/Excel/powerpoint world I attempted to do something through Entourage.
After I wasted an hour with that, I posted this on this forum.
If anyone knows of any program that will allow you to create an address list so a MAC user who has created vCARDS in address book can share with Excel users, let me know.
I had a iMac 24" be for they broke in my HOUSE! So i was thinking that this would be a upgrade. I've burned over 12 disc now and none of them will play. So this iMac 27" OS X 10.9.4 has wasted my TIME & MONEY. I'm just trying to make a slideshow from iPhoto export with music to a DVD, and when i put in my player all i get is UNKNOWN DISC. I normally export any email I wish to save as a PDF, for some reason a tax receipt I've just received, when exported as PDF, displays only as the sender's details, i.e. name, address, date sent etc.
I've tried saving as RTF and converting but when it converts to PDF it moves the formatting around so figures aren't in one column anymore.

I upgraded operating system to Mavericks, since then all footage I export from FCP as a QT movie has artifacts. I'm using FC 6.0.6. I have the settings optimized for download in the settings options ad data rate at 3000. I have been exporting like this for years with footage looking same as in FCP timeline. Mavericks doesn't work with older programs..I only downloaded the thing so I could run Da Vinci Light, it screwed up my mail system too.

I made a clean install today. iCloud sync on, everything is fine. I setup a new user, so I could give screen sharing and file sharing rights to a user with another mac.
Now, I cannot change any contacts in my contacts.app any more.
I checked the rights for Library etc. and gave the Admin and the user accounts again full read and write permissions.

My problem its pretty simple. When I choose "Desktop folder" as destination to import/export in my applications, the entire app freezes.
For example: If i want to open a photo which are in "desktop" with photoshop with the "Open..." option, the "choose destination" pop-up window that appear freezes and I have to Force Quit. If i choose another folder, nothing happens.

I have noticed my contacts on my macbook are not synchronizing with iCloud. I have 20 contacts more on my matchbook than I have in iCloud. Since I have more than 500 contacts I don't know which ones I'm missing.I also have double contacts in my 'all contacts' but I cannot delete them. I trust my iCloud contacts, but there are at least 20 contacts missing there.

I can no longer add or delete any contacts in Contacts. I am running Mavericks, 10.9.3 and I have an IPhone 5 which is up to date on its software. I have tried having iCloud syncing on and off and still cannot add or delete contacts on my MacBook Pro (brand new; with Retina display). I have looked for a preference file and cannot even find one that seems to be for Contacts. I can remove contacts from my iPhone, and I can sync it with my laptop, but the contacts I deleted on the phone are not deleted on the laptop. When syncing, which I have tried doing both wired and wireless, it takes forever to finish, it if it does at all. I usually let it set at working on step 5 for about 5 minutes before I just click the round "X" and dismiss the sync box.
