OS X :: Delete Search Engine - Clear History?
Every time I go on yahoo answers and look up something all my questions pop up. How do I get rid of them? I already went to "history" and clicked "clear history" but it still stays on yahoo answers.

Aperture :: How To Delete Previous Search (Keywords) History
Aperture 3 searches work really great. However when using keywords, I haven't find a way to get rid of the keywords I used in the previous search without having to manually deselect each single one of them. When you have hundreds of keywords (I am a botanist and have a huge collection of plant images) it is a bit annoying to have to manually dig into those keywords, to find the ones used in the previous search to get ready for a clean new search. Is there a way to remove the search criteria clicking a single button? If you look in the upper right corner there is an "x" that supposedly does that. However when you select keywords as your search criteria, well the keywords I used in the previous search appear selected. Information: macbook pro Mac OS X (10.6.4)

Safari :: Unable To Use The Search Window On The Right To Get Results When Google Is Selected As The Search Engine?
I am unable to use the search window on the right to get results when Google is selected as the search engine.I type in a search term and I am directed to a blank google search page. I have to type in the search term again, then I see a list of "hits". But when I click on one of these hits I am not directed to the URL displayed. I have quit out of Safari and relaunched. I have rebooted my Mac. Neither changes the problem... This is a Google problem: I have the same symptoms when I use Safari on Windows XP. When I switch the search engine to Bing, the problems go away, for both platforms Has Google been hacked? Is this a Google attack on Safari?  How can I enter GoGoDuck as a search engine choice?  Info: MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

OS X :: Alternative To Google (Search Engine)
I tried bing for a week, but it just doesn't give the same results as google. Is there any other search engines that come close to google? Also, how do you change the default search engine in safari? I've just noticed in windows safari that you can simply choose yahoo instead of google! Is it the same with OSX safari?

Mac Safari :: Quits When Using Search Engine
When I type in a value in the search box of either Yahoo or Google the Safari application quits. The message that comes up is "The application Safari quit unexpectedly". If I type in an actual address in the address bar I can get into the site. It is only when I do a search that Safari quits and kicks me out. Information: Mac OS X (10.4.11)

IWeb 09 :: Website Not Showing Up At All On Any Search Engine?
I recently switched from Windows to a Mac (and its a big improvement, really pleased with it). As we run 2 tiny businesses, one of my first projects was to make 2 websites in iweb and publish them via ftp to the domains I purchased (both hosted by free virtual servers). When I type in the web address in the Safari browser bar, the websites display and work perfectly. However, for one website, when I google any of the keywords (i.e. santa, reindeer and horse-drawn sleigh hire), or the actual company name (Santa and Co), or the specific web address [URL], nothing comes up apart from the freevirtualservers awaiting content thing. When I click on this, it goes straight to the website, all working fine! I don't expect to be on the first page of google, and this question isn't about how to improve my ranking on search engines, but normally when you google a company name or specific website address it comes up somewhere with the actual site! To make sure, I made a site for a friend [URL] and the same thing applies - nothing comes up. When I search for [URL] it doesn't exist, although typing the address in the browser bar brings the site up working perfectly. I have got cyberduck but as the sites display fine I'm assuming its another problem. The other website I made for our business [URL] has a different issue but I'd like to get the Santa and Co one sorted first! I don't know where I'm going wrong, and apologies if I have posted this in the wrong place but I haven't got a clue how to fix things, or even what this issue could relate to. Mac Safari :: Changing The Default Search Engine?
I've done quite some search to figure out the solution for this. Some were saying that you have to set your country/language to "UK" (in the preferences) which I have and others to change the code in a special file (which some suggested was not working well). So, is there a straight forward solution to have [URL] as my default search engine instead of [URL]? Information: iMac Mac OS X (10.6.2)

IWeb 09 :: Different Language Versions - Search Engine Optimization
Am I the only one with these wishes for a future version of iWeb? 1) I want it to be possible again to open iWeb in different language versions and not only the language used as default under Mac OS X! 2) There must be a better integration of SEO (Search Engine Optimization). 3) Please allow / ensure deep-linking and that users become able to bookmark any page on iWeb created websites, and not just the main URL (as is the case with Apple's present domain masking) which will also allow creating a site map. Mac Safari :: How To Clear URL History In 5
The issue I'm having with Safari 5 seems to be closely related to the issue discussed here: [URL] I typed out the first two letters of an URL thinking that Safari would autocomplete the URL, but instead of hitting the arrow key to grab the rest of the URL I hit return too early and of course I get an error page [URL]. OS X :: Clear Safari Address Bar History?
This is probably very simple, but how can I remove the history that resides in Safari's address bar? I guess I could "reset Safari", but then I'd lose all my cookies, and I don't want to do that. I already emptied the cache, cleared history, restarted Safari, even turned on Private Browsing. The darn address bar history is still there.

OS X :: Clear History In Today Folder In Finder?
I am new to my Mac and want to know who to clear the history in my "Today" folder in Finder. To be clear, I don't want to remove the Today folder but just clear the contents of the applications that I have opened. On a side note, I would also like to know how to set up finder so that the "Today" folder won't show that I have opened anything (rather then having to go back and remove the history after the fact).
