I have been trying to install CS4 Creative Suite all day using crack files and keygens but nothing i do works.
Does anyone have clear instructions on how to do this without opening a root account? It would put such a amazing end to an other wise poor day
Ok i have decided to move to a mac soon and i was just wondering about my Creative 7.1 speakers which is currently hooked up to the creative x-fi card.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm still trying to decide whether or not to give up my expresscard slot for an SD card slot. If I could figure out something useful to do with it, that would persuade me. I don't do hard core photography yet, and if I did, I could always just USB the camera.Does anyone use the SD card slot for something other than photography? I figured maybe it could be used like a floppy drive to organize certain projects or files but those could always be backed up to CD/ DVD. Not to mention, if you store the files on your hard drive, time machine would back them up.

View 1 Replies View RelatedActually I am not a Professional User, but I like the possibilites of the RAW format and how Aperture handled it. And there was a good integration within the Apple world, I could easily stream photos from Aperture to Apple TV and sync them with an iPad without using any cloud s**t.
I had a look on Lightroom now, and it seems like sync is only possible by using a "creative cloud"? I don't want to upload all my photos to any Apple/Adobe/NSA server and will never do this, so is there any way to do a local sync to have these photos on my iPad as album in photos? What's about the new "Photos" App, can it handle RAW (without doing a conversion to jpeg first of all, like iPhoto does) and can it still sync locally?
Can I stream photos from Lightroom to AppleTV directly? Or is it a good time now to buy something more open like Chromecast? Can I access Lightroom Albums via the file open dialog? When I order prints or create a photobook I have access to iPhote and Aperture Albums, but I believe that other solutions are not available via file system.
I really don't like the way Apple is going. If you like to do anything more as upload some photos from you 99$ digtial cam to facebook, Apple is not the solution anymore. And what I read is the Lightroom isn't really stable on Apple Hardware, everywhere I read that Lightroom on Windows is better a million times compared to the Mac Version.
Adobe plans to offer its customers the first overview of Creative Suite 4.0 later this month and could be ready to deliver the software to market as early as this fall, according to those close to the company. The Mountain View, Calif-based software maker released public betas of CS4-bound applications Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Soundbooth in late May, but has kept secret its plans for some of the suite's more prominent components, namely Photoshop and Flash. That's about to change. The company this week began notifying its customers that it intends to host a webcast covering its next-generation software bundle at 1:00 p.m. Eastern time on Tuesday, September 23rd. "Are you ready for something brilliant?," the company wrote on the digital registration form for the presentation. "Be one of the first to see Adobe Creative Suite 4.0 in a special web broadcast."
Word of the event comes amid an increasing number of reports from Adobe's partners who say the company is aiming for a near 18-month refresh cycle of its bread and butter software suite, with a release as early as October. This comes despite earlier claims of an October release that were hotly contested by company representatives. Creative Suite 3.0, which delivered universal binaries of all major component applications for the Mac, was announced in March of 2007. Adobe offered several different editions or bundles of the suite when it began shipping between the months of April and June that year. People familiar with the ongoing development of Creative Suite 4.0 say a good chunk of Adobe's resources for the project were devoted to bringing two applications acquired from Macromedia -- Dreamweaver and Fireworks -- up to spec with its existing flagship offerings. However, the company is expected to tout a handful of significant enhancements to both Photoshop and Flash.
For example, the company is expected to announce that Photoshop CS4 (codenamed Stonehenge) will be capable of pulling in 3D objects as wireframes. Although UV mapping won't be supported, the feature will reportedly allow sales teams to perform quick color changes and color corrections. The new version of Photoshop will also feature a Flash services panel, natural canvas rotation, content aware image resizing and deliver 64-bit support for Windows users. Separately, Adobe is planning a slew of enhancements in Flash CS4 (codenamed Diesel) that have resonated well with early testers, leading some to bill upgrade as "the best thing" to happen to Flash in quite some time. Among these will be a completely new "and proper" timeline dubbed Motion Editor, as well as a new object-based motion tween model. Other enhancements bound for Flash CS4 reportedly include an "Inverse kinematics" tool for building complex animations and 3D rotation support. [View this article at AppleInsider.com]
So I used to be a student when I had the last Creative Suite I bought, and am not now, although didn't have the chance to graduate so obviously the money isn't rolling in from designing (for the most part) and apparently this crap cost $1700? Anyways I suppose I understand the pricing, but would be unable to buy the $400 Student Edition so was wondering, would ebay be a good option? I found this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/_W0QQcmdZViewIte...mZ290349235313
and the guy seems to be legit but I am still weary about it. Also seems like the guy has a hard time selling them and was wondering if anyone has had any luck buying the stuff off of ebay?
I'm trying to install an adobe creative suite premium for a 1.3 mac on a recently acquired Mac OS. It is not letting me because the power PC applications are no longer supported. Does anyone understand that?

transition from PC to Mac soon, but now I have my Creative 5.1 sound speaker system (with 3 lines of output, 1 for rears, front+center and the sub-woofer). The iMac only comes with a single optical audio output (Realtek HD?), I wonder if there is any hub-like device or so that allows me to fuse/connect physically the 3 lines in my 5.1 Creative system so that I will have a single line to transmit sound from my iMac to my set of speakers without compromising the 5.1 environment (6 speakers in full working working potential).

I don't like Pages that much because it's only a mediocre layout app, but in my opinion a bad text editor. Word on the other hand is better with text, but its interface is cluttered with superfluous menus and items that distract me.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm a senior in college and am about to buy the 17" MBP. I also would like to buy the Adobe Web Premium CS4 software while I am still able to use my student discount. My question is, is the education version the same as the retail version? And when I eventually want to upgrade it (out of school) will I be able to? Also, will I be able to use the software for work once I graduate? I'm not really sure about all the details, but want to take advantage of the education discount while I still can.

I've search and cannot locate one that does this, does it by chance exist or am I stuck using Pages and turning it into a book after?

I've searched for drivers, but couldn't find any. Is there something else I can do, or are they just not compatible with the Mac mini?

Okay, so we've probably heard about the LG GGW-H20L Blu-ray burner/HD-DVD reader. It's quite cheap for a dual format drive. I was wondering if there would be any extra complicated setup other than connecting the cables that are already in the Mac Pro. I know that there isn't true support for either format in OS X. That's fine. Here's my plan: Use the drive as another DVD/CD burner in OS X Use the drive to burn Blu-ray and HD-DVD data disks in OS X Use the drive to watch Blu-ray and HD-DVD movies in Vista in Boot Camp, as OS X doesn't support that yet. Do I need to do anything special to allow these things to happen?

View 26 Replies View RelatedJust wondering if there was a different DVD player out there for OSX? I think the DVD player that comes with it is fine, but either I can't find it or it is missing one feature that I like. I don't know what it is called but it is the little progress line that you can click on and go to anywhere in a recording. For example, on Itunes, if you go to the top where it says what song is playing there will be a progress bar that you can use to go to anyplace in the song. That is what I would like to do with DVDs. Any suggested downloads out there?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm thinking of getting a Blu-Ray player for my living room, and one of the models I was looking at in Best Buy said that it supported "PC streaming," which I assume means that it would stream video and audio from a computer on the same network. I was wondering if any Blu-Ray players that work in this way support Macs. I have the latest version of Snow Leopard on my computer, which is a white plastic MacBook.
