Mac Pro :: When Recording Is It Normal Not Being Able To Hear Yourself Play From Speakers
Apr 8, 2012I plugged in a Shure AXS1 microphone into the analog stereo line-level input.In the system prefs I set the Input to Line in.The midi panel to built in line input. When recording in Audition the sound level is really low and coming out only on the right channel (speaker). Why is it coming out on one channel?I can deal with a low level sound recording but coming out only on one channel on playback has stumped me. I've been playing with all the settings but no luck.Second. When recording is it normal not being able to hear yourself playfrom the speakers?

Nov 30, 2014my MacBook Pro Mid 2010 I have never had an issue with anything until now. In the past couple days I noticed that I was not able to watch any videos. This includes videos from YouTube, Netflix and even iTunes movies. I have confirmed that I have the most recent versions of Adobe Flash and Silverlight. Is there a setting that could have initiated this kind of behavior or should I visit the local Apple Store?

Jun 20, 2012Just brought home a brand new 13" MacBook Air. Went to the Apple website and couldn't play any videos. YouTube videos play fine, and the Apple Trailers website plays fine. It's just [URL] that won't play videos.
There are no extensions in Safari (so DivX isn't the problem). QuickTime 10 is installed. It's fresh out of the box. Haven't changed a thing. what we need to do to get videos playing from the Apple website?
