When I try to watch videos on the Apple website, they won't play. I have a Macbook Pro with OSX Lion. I'm not sure when it stopped being able to play them. I know it had no problem when I first bought the computer 2 years ago.I don't have problems on any other websites. All my software is up to date. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling flash.

Just brought home a brand new 13" MacBook Air. Went to the Apple website and couldn't play any videos. YouTube videos play fine, and the Apple Trailers website plays fine. It's just [URL] that won't play videos.
There are no extensions in Safari (so DivX isn't the problem). QuickTime 10 is installed. It's fresh out of the box. Haven't changed a thing. what we need to do to get videos playing from the Apple website?

there is tearing at the top of the video but works fine on my windows pc .
All latest updates have been installed and other videos play fine...only apple site.

Youtube videos won't play properly on my imac (I have OS X version 10.5.8). The video plays only for a few short seconds and stops for about 90 seconds and then repeats the process .

my MacBook Pro Mid 2010 I have never had an issue with anything until now. In the past couple days I noticed that I was not able to watch any videos. This includes videos from YouTube, Netflix and even iTunes movies. I have confirmed that I have the most recent versions of Adobe Flash and Silverlight. The sound works fine otherwise (though it's never loud enough on this machine - I think the speakers may have issues). Regardless, for youtube ONLY, it will play video fine and maddeningly... no sound! I got this machine used and I don't seem to recall that it had this problem a couple years ago, but that one day it just stopped having audio for youtube. I have already tried resetting the PRAM and PMU - no effect.Â
