Jun 28, 2010no matter what browser i use, safari, firefox, i can't download anything! whenever i click download it just takes me to a new site with nothing on it and the name of the download in the url
like for example

is where i will say download that widget then it takes me here

and no download starts or anything. its like my computer is going dumb. like it doesn't download it, just like opens the link with a blank page. why is it not downloading it. this happens for ANYTHING from ANY site on ANY web browser.

Jun 26, 2014Starting a few days ago when I double click a folder on the desktop it no longer opens. Instead, I am taken to a new desktop window that shows the folder clicked plus all other items on the desktop. How do I restore the double click to open the folder? I have tried resetting the double click speed with no results.Â

Jan 9, 2009I would like to use the Notepad++ on my new Mac, I found out (after a lot og Googling) that I need and Mac version of the Wine - the Darwine to be able to run it. So I got the 1.1.7 version of the Darwin form HERE After the installation I have the Darwine folder inside the Applications and it contains:
- Sample WineLib Applications
- Wine.Bundle
- WineHelper
Afterwards I got the Notepad++ from HERE. I downloaded the executable file (npp.5.1.3.Installer.exe) Now - my understand it about how to run the Notepad++ correctly is following:
1) Run the Wine.Bundle
2) Click "Choose the application"
3) Do so
- But just I can not choose the "npp.5.1.3.Installer.exe".
- If I just run the npp.5.1.3.Installer.exe direcly via clickung on it - it crashes
- If I try to run the WineHelper - it also crashes ....

Feb 8, 2012About a month ago I upgraded my computer from Snow Leopard to Lion, but now there are some features that I had in Snow Leopard that I can't figure out how to change in Lion.I heavily relied on Spaces for opening my programs and more importantly, opening up certain programs in certain desktops. I was able to go into my System Preferences and choose which program I wanted to open up in which desktop in Spaces. Now that I have Lion (and Spaces is gone) certain programs still open up in certain desktops, but I don't want that feature anymore. Am I stuck with programs opening up in those selected desktops, or is there somewhere in my computer that I can go to change that?
