Click Change Store to view this article". If I click to change the Store from the Spanish to the American store, I have to fill the data but my ID apple is not working on the "foreign" store. I just bought a $10 iTunes card and I want to by iMovie from the Mac App Store. (which brings my balance to $16.48) My problem is whenever I try to buy this product I'm sent to the billing page. I don't have a credit card so I select "none" and try to purchase iMovie again. But it just sends me back to the billing page. I don't want to buy another card in order to redeem something on the billing page so what do I do?

How do I get Apple to return the paid version of a certain app back to the App store? The free limited version is still available but the paid version with more features has been removed. I know people who want to get this app and cannot. It is Word Play Online and has a very loyal following with over 50,000 names playing and yet is gone from the App Store. How can I find out where it went?

so I have a mid 2010 2.66 i7 MBP, and the hard drive failed today (I have it back up running off an external HD). I called Applecare and Apple all but demanded I drive 3+ hours to an Apple store to get it looked at.Spending a day driving and at an Apple store is not in the cards.I asked they just ship me a new HDD and I'll put it in, but they don't want to do that.I will have to ship the laptop back to ??? and wait until they send it back.Is this common?I have used Applecare before with a new MBP years ago and they just shipped me a replacement. This MBP is near my replacement cycle, but I'm not ready yet.

I'm looking into purchasing a Macbook Air and was curious if anyone had opinion on which refurbish unit I should be looking at? Specifically, I want to keep my budget around $1,100.
Apple has two different refurbished units 1) 1.6Ghz w/ 120GB HD or 2) 1.8Ghz w/ 80GB HD.
Should I sacrifice 40GB of HD for 0.2Ghz? Is there that noticeable of a difference? I also noticed that the 1.8Ghz seem to be running Intel graphics rather than the Nvida. Any thoughts?
Now that they have cheaper refurbished Macbooks up, I think I'm going to buy one today.
I have bought many refurbished products before, but never one this expensive. I just wanted to make sure that there is NO difference in warranty, quality or anything when buying refurbished. Simply just a computer that has been refurbished but includes everything as if it were being bought brand new.
Also I am definitely going to buy a new Hard drive for it immediately. I was reading around about the western digital 5400 rpm and 7200 rpm. Is it worth waiting for the 7200rpm or just go for the 5400? And is 500GB the biggest hard drive that I can put in my macbook? I want the biggest possible.
What is the exact drive that is compatible with the macbook?
I just got mine refurbished and it appears in perfect condition, and runs perfectly, but I have no idea whether the previous owner stressed it, in which case it may be more likely to break, or may break soon after my year is up. I don't really want to buy AppleCare, but I guess I might if it really is worth it.

View 21 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if you can upgrade say the hard disk of a base level macbook pro (13 inch i'm looking at) AT the apple store? I guess to illustrate my point - I'm looking at the baseline 13 inch macbook pro and I wanted to upgrade the hard drive from the 160 gb - maybe the 300 or 500 gb hard drive. Because I'm only stopping by for a day I wanted to buy one on the spot (thus getting it at an apple store rather than buying it online).
View 5 Replies View RelatedCan you call an Apple Store and purchase something that they will hold for you when you come in? I wanted to pick up a macbook pro today but it's an hour drive and want to make sure it's available at that configuration. Also do they need to see the credit card used? It's a corporate card that I don't physically have on me.

I have a macbook 2.4 alu (Late 2008) and Installed linux as soon as I got it.(I just like the cases). Anyway I know that you need to use apple update in osx to update the firmware. I can't dual boot because my HD is MBR. I thought of 2 ways.
A. Install OSX onto a usb device (Cost 30-40 bucks for usb)
B. Take to apple store, Maybe they can do it.
I can't dual boot because my HD is MBR. I heard the new firmware updates stop a lot of issues.
After the midnight update, now when I go to buy any of the Macbook Pros (the 'Select' button) I get "The page you're looking for can't be found." Everything else seems to work.
I have purchased numerous films to watch via apple TV (original model), only to find that I am now out of disc space. I have a time capsule, but how can I store the movies yet access them on apple tv?
