When I bought my Macbook Pro on Thursday I also purchased Pages whilst in the Apple store in town. The assistant helped me start the installation whilst I was there and he told me that it would continue when I got home, even if i shut the laptop down there. So this is what I did, however, since I've been home, every time I click Install on Pages in the App Store a message comes up saying : "There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later." Another thing I should mention is that I purchased Pages on a different Apple ID account when I was in the store, but I was told I only had to log in to that account from my Macbook Pro and I could easily download Pages.

Several weeks ago I upgraded my mother's MacBook to Lion. I had also intended to buy lion for myself but my iMac's hard drive died.Since Lion was installed the MacBook's battery life has been very, very poor - even booting up can cost 5%. A lot of people gave been discussing this. I have googled this issue and emailed Apple, but there seems to be no solution on the horizon. So I am going to reinstall Snow Leopard on the MacBook. I had intended to contact Apple to see if a refund would be possible. However, just yesterday I replaced the hard drive in my iMac and it is working fine now. So I was wondering since I paid for the Lion OS, is okay for me to install it on my iMac rather than attempt to get a refund. Is that legal? And would it work? Would the fact that it was bought using my mother's AppleID (my money though ;)) mean that if I install it on my iMac it will make my computer my morher's computer - meaning my morher's login and details will overwrite mine?

I install it and then when it goes to sleep or I turn off my computer it doesn't save my install and I have to reinstall the purchase all over again. Why? I can not update or install new apps. Some work though, some do not. For example I can update GarageBand and UberStrikeHD(2 random apps that I have an update available for) and I can not update LevelHelper and Trillian(also just 2 random apps I have an update available for).As for new apps ... Well, all that I tried they didn't download(ReadLater, CodeCollectorPro and RamOptimizer Lite, Apple Configurator are 4 of the apps I tried downloading). I get to enter my password, the app "goes" into the Launchpad, but the bar that should show the progress of the download gets filled instantly and the Appstore shows "Installed" instantly, while the Launchpad icon also shows the bar full instantly, but the app is obviously still greyed out since it didn't really download anything. Then after a few seconds I get an error:"The application could not be downloaded. The requested URL was not found on this server". Cancel or Retry, retrying doesn't work either.
I am using a broadband internet connection, but I tried it with several USB devices and I got the same result (also tried sharing the broadband connection from a macmini and connect to it through internet sharing, still didnt work)... And I do not have 10.7.3 installed, since it is a 2GB update and my broadband data plan is capped at 4GB, but I doubt it will fix anything, since in the past I got this error before, but I have no idea how it got fixed. I also tried every Apple provided support article.

Garageband is not installing on my os x lion 10.7.3 it downloaded to mac mini just fine now it wont install everytime I click on the Garageband icon in launchpad it trys to download other parts of the program. I let it download 4 different times all the same size download and it is always the same. The program wont run.

I have just purchased a game from the app store. The download was interupted. When i restarted the laptop I went to the purchases section of the app store to resume the download. The only option there now though is to install. If i click it the button dims for a few seconds then is bold again. Not setup sequence starts. Is there a way of restarting the download?

So my iPod is all kinds of glitching. None of the apps are working. I press them and they open for a second and then close themselves out. Them I tried installing a new app, a free one, bit it's glitching. I go to the app store, search for Any game but when I press free, it does this weird thing where the free button moves and then all I can see I half the install button. I tried pressing the half-install button but it does nothing. I tried restarting the iPod nut it's the same thing once I turn it back on.

I purchased Call of Duty Modern Warfare, a large 7gig download, the download was interrupted and I had to re-boot. In the App Store under Purchases it lists the purchase but not installed. When I click install, box changes momentarily but then nothing happens. There is no option to resume, or re-download. Perhaps the download was complete before the interruption but there is no indication anywhere under launch or in Finder. What are my options? Is this common? I am already regretting buying such a large program.

After that every attempt to start Sketch gives an immediate crash. I submitted the error report to Bohemian Coding (the author) but no reaction so far.I downloaded the trial version from their site: it seems to work but it lasts only 14 days. I asked Bohemian Coding for a license key but I got no reaction.
I tried to reinstall following the method described elsewhere in the support forum. Unfortunately, that leaves me with 1) Sketch deleted, 2) App Store still mentions it as "installed". No way to download it a second time. It disappeared from my "purchased" list in App Store.
