I just bought Samsung UN46C7000WFXZA. I want to connect my macbook pro to the TV and i got all the cables that i need.

[URL] I did connect everything my macbook pro very well to the TV using HDMI cable from the laptop to HDMI/DVI port in the TV. Also I connected the Audio cable from my Headphone port in my laptop to PC/DVI Audio IN in the TV. Yes I got the pic and everything is good but no sound at all. I tried everything and i searched the net but no luck or answer at all.
I recently received a late 2007 mac mini as a hand me down from my parents and I'm trying to hook it up to a Sony HDTV via HDMI to DVI cable. I bought the cables I needed and attempted to set it up, however when I turn on the system nothing appears on the display. I've been searching posts and various forums, but haven't really made any progress because most troubleshooting guides are focused upon display problems like pixels and refreshes.
Unfortunately I don't have a VGA monitor to use (which is what the mini was previously used on) to try and see if that works.
It was working fine for the past month and now I reconnected everything after moving the TV and I can't get sound... I've triple checked all settings on TV and MacBook.
i have connected cable to tv but it is just showing (mac screen purple space stars picture if you know what i mean) on the hdtv as when you first turn your mac on. but my mac is working normal can use everything
I have just ordered a Macbook Air. I have an external monitor that has speakers seperate. If I use a minidisplay port to hdmi adaptor to connect to the monitor, will the sound be able to be played out of the speakers of the Air? If not, can I connect an audio jack and have it play through the seperate speakers?
if i buy the mini display port to dvi adapter, could i use it with a dvi to hdmi cable for my monitor. This is because the dvi and vga ports are already taken up.
a Cable that DEF transfers audio over to the tv? Also here is my macbook pro model. Does it do Audio? Build 10FS69. Someone said there is a belkin one, is that right? Also, I just bought one from Monoprice and that f'in cable doesn't work
Looking for best conversion cable to hook my Mac Book Pro up to our new HDTV - thought someone said I should get a converter that converts Mac 800 firewire output to an HDMI cable hookup.
I receive cable TV at home and I am told that instead of using a TV I can hook my MacBook via a HDMI cable and watch TV that way on my laptop screen. I'd like to do that. Is the information correct? How do I go about it? Can my MacBook do that?
today i decided to use my sony bravia 26 inch klv series LCD TV as my primary display instead of my LG 22 inch LED and at first i was surprised that it reported the input as "unsupported". after a few tries now i have the display running as a primary diplay at 1080p and the macbook in closed lid clamshell. but the picture clarity is horrible! the font is barely readable and the color isn't that good either. also, the edges of both the font and the pictures aren't sharp or crisp.
its like watching a blur image like on a vga. i'm using a mini display port to dvi adapter and a dvi to hdmi cable. before u think its the cable let me tell u this same cable works fine with my 22inch led, 22inch sony lcd and 40 inch sony lcd in the living room. but they had their own set of problems. the color is unnatural with too much saturation for a computer screen and the zoom fit is a well known probelm which required a lot of effort untill apple equppied os x with "underscan"
How do I connect my video camera (Sony FX1E) using Firewire cable to the MBP firewire port (which I see is Firewire 800). Is there a cable or adaptor for this?
I feel like I've read every thread on every forum, and they all cover the same issues. I've spent FAR too many hours trying to hook this up and I'm asking for your help. I have the mini dvi to hdmi adapter, with the hdmi going into the tv. I only have one hdmi input on my TV so I know it's turned to the right input. I've tried mirroring, I've tried switching hdmi cables, and even bought another adapter. I had the picture up yesterday just clicking on settings but it was when the screen wasn't mirrored, and it was treating it as another display. Now I can't even get that to work. I've tried every resolution. I plug it in, and detect the monitor, and it brings up two windows. One is "color lcd" and the other is "TSB-H66S".
I've been using an HDMI cable to connect my macbook pro to a LG TV. I haven't used it in couple of weeks, the cable seems fine but when I connect it to the TV it says NO SIGNAL. Any help? I've tried restarting the computer, turning it off and back on with the cable plugged...
I have a late 2009 13.3" MacBook, and I want to use my tv as a monitor but I wasn't looking to have 3 adapters to make it possible so I was hoping to have the Mini DVI to HDMI cable. Well newegg said this cable was what I wanted so I bought it for $20 and of course it isn't what i want at all. Where can I find the cable I want?
Connected Logiix displayport to hdmi cable with audio support for macbook pro.Set settings in system preferences to mirror display and video came up on Sony flatscreen TV.
Tried to cange settings for audio in system preferences but hdmi connection does not appear.
i used a mini-dvi to hmdi adapter with a hdmi to hdmi cable to connect my macbook to a tv and it works fine...then i used the same adapter with a hdmi to rca cable and it didn't work...do i need a digital to analog converter?
I am trying to connect my MBP to my TV via HDMI and I obviously I need a MiniDisplay to HDMI cable, but I'm confused with the whole "female-male" cable stuff and I don't want to buy the wrong thing.
I want to buy a cord that will hook up from my Laptop (Macbook Pro) to my TV. I've already checked and my TV does have a HDMI port.Im just not sure where I can buy a HDMI cable or which one.
I have a Monoprice USB/Mini-USB to HDMI port in Samsung LCD TV. When watching a movie being shown from my Macbook to the TV screen we can't get audio to transfer to the TV. We've tried different setting on the TV remote but nothing seems to work.
Info: iPhone 3GS, iOS 5, Main syncing computer is MacBook
I have a new iMac which I'm attempting to connect to my Sony KDL-46S5100 LCD Television via HDMI. The TV will not recognize the computer. I have confirmed that my adapter and cable work by testing the connections on a MacBook Pro - that worked fine. However, when I plug the adapter into my iMac the TV says "no signal" and the iMac does not recognize the TV. I went to the Apple store earlier and they were able to get the computer to connect to their TV with no problem.
Is there a difference in picture quality if I connect a MDP to HDMI instead of a MDP to DVI from my macbook pro to my tv?Will I be able to play movies at 1080p if I use the MDP to HDMI?
how to view/use applications and Spaces on my HDTV. I have gotten as far as being able to see my desktop on the TV, but none of the other applications that I have opened.
I have a new Macbook Pro OS X Lion, and want to use my large LED TV as a monitor, but when using Thunderbolt to HDMI cable to TV, the Menubar is missing from the TV display.
