When I minimize my open internet pages they are really small on the desktop. They were a decent size at first but now they're tiny. Is there a way to make them bigger?

I changed my partition size firstly from (full disk size) about 160GB to 80GBs in order to create a new one which was another 80GBs after that I decided to just leave this 160GB and one partition, so I did what I decided, but now there is a problem. I did everything under Installation CD and than it shows in Disk Tool that the partition is 160GB on diagrams but under it it shows: total size 80GB... and the same is when I launching Snow Leopard. I'm clicking Macintosh HD and informations than it shows total size: 80GB, I tried to change again partition sizes but it does nothing, I cannot do anything under Mac OS and bootable installation disc. I'm completely stuck it shows, always and always that "Spliting in to partitions finished due an error - could not modficate partition's map".

Got a new MBP 13". Just the one problem. Every now and again, always when I am touching the mousepad, the icon sizes on the desktop change. I then have to go into Show View Options and set it back again to what I want.

When my macbook pro resumes from sleep the desktop opens too large for the screen size. Yes, I'm running LION. Another forum has advised to switch between users which works great for a temporary fix. This issue seems to be on-going.

View 5 Replies View RelatedMy desktop icon size CONTINUALLY defaults to a very tiny size. I know where to change the size > click on desktop > show view options > adjust icon size; however, inevitably as soon as I close it out, it defaults back to a very tiny size..I mean VERY tiny. So I have to continually do the above procedure to increase the size again. Doesn't look like there is a way to LOCK that desktop icon size. Â

how I can speed up my internet. [URL]is says that I have a 10.71 mbps download and 1.34 mbps upload but for some reason my internet is always slow to load web pages etc. There a quite a few internet connected devices in my house (up to ten (iphones computers, xbox), but not all being used at once of course, with 2 Airport Extreme base stations.) Right, so yesterday I used a friends o2 dongle and I was asked did I want to save internet settings, I said yes - not knowing what I was saving (silly silly).
I had to do work at my old college but was unable to connect to wifi. Went to the IT lads and they fixed it - sort of - I could access the Internet but no sites that required a log in eg gmail facebook.
I am now at home and on my iPod typing this as my Mbp won't connect to the Internet! It was connecting to the wifi provider, have full signal but won't load the pages. I know it can't be the wifi as my iPod works fine.
Certain pages, sometimes, won't load and the error would be that I'm not connected to the internet. When I actually am. I keep encountering problems with Safari. Is it normal?

Scrolling, i.e. 2-finger, on the trackpad often, but randomly, results in font size changes (e.g. in Safari, mail, etc.); in word and powerpoint it often changes a word or paragraph to subscript or superscript. This also happens often with cursor movement on the trackpad, i.e. single finger sweeps. It appears that trackpad usage is randomly triggering command+ or command-.

I have created a "newsletter" using Mac iwork Pages publication. The newsletter includes text and pictures. I would like to email it to over a hundred people so need it to be a small file. At the moment it is approx 3.2 MB. I tried compressing it to zip but it is still way too large. I downloaded Graphic Converter but cannot work out how to use it with Pages. Or is there an easier way?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm a complete noob when it comes to Pages (iWork'05), and I'm editing my first newsletter which is supposed to go out to 300 people by e-mail. However, when I export it to pdf, the file size is 22.8mb! For 6 pages!
I've chosen the Extreme newsletter template (red one), and I have 6 pages in total. The only reason I can think of why it's so big is that when i drag and drop photos into the photo-boxes, the image isn't scaled down at all, not even when I export it to pdf. Is that right? It's only about 1 or 2 photos per page, and I have two pages with three small photos and a larger photo at the bottom. Anyone got some insights?
