Apr 26, 2009This country girl took my imac(G4) from a dial up location to a friends with high speed to up grade. All went well and puter was clipping along nicely until I tried to open iphotoIt said library is damaged or unreadable and cannot be opened. After checking around I read that I needed ilife iphoto 8......so i bought the new soft ware and installed. That went fine although it told me I could not run imovie because i needed a card....that's ok I don't do movies. So now my iphoto said same as above and i searched the hard drive and found back up! Yahoo I saw my pictures. So I selected them all and tried to drag them to iphoto but OOOPS I dropped them on the desk top. Now the beach ball is spinning. I also tried shutting down/ force quit. Nothing is working. How do I make it stop? It seems to be trying to move 10,ooo pictures. Also all my folders are gone

Oct 24, 2009Right now I am working at a desk, with a USB number pad. It is a different height than my MBP and has different sized keys. It ends up being difficult to use quickly. I think that Apple should make a number pad that is pushed up to the same height as the MBP because it packs a battery inside. With their wireless obsession, I am sure Apple would want to make a bluetooth device, but it would make so much more sense to me if the pad could add a couple extra hours of battery life. It would come with a MagSafe dongle (power discharge) and a USB dongle (input and power charge) in a single cable like the displays. The device would charge when the computer was connected to A/C power, and only discharge when both the MagSafe cable and USB cable were connected to a computer, to make sure that it would not accidentally discharge in a customer's laptop bag. It is unfortunate that the MagSafe and USB ports are on the opposite side of where a number pad should be, but an extra 18� of cable would be a small price to pay for faster inputting and longer battery life.

I open up the computer and see the card physically there and it is. Is there something i need to do, to enable it so OSX can see it? Jun 27, 2012Today I set up my Apple ID from appleid.apple.com and was hoping to use the Download Album Artwork feature in my iTunes library (who doesn't like to have some nice cover art for their albums? Huh?). Unfortunately, It came up with this message:
So naturally, I go on and click Review and it takes me to this:

I check I have read and agree to these terms and conditions. Eventually, I get to this screen:
I fill out all of the billing address, and don't have an iTunes gift card, so I leave that out. What is left? A Credit Card field! I am only 14 years old! I don't have a Credit Card! Is there any way to get past this? I have noticed that the same thing happens in the Mac App Store. All I want to do is get the Album Artwork and get a few free apps for my iPod Touch as well as my MacBook.
