I know that on a PC it is quite simple to burn multiple downloaded movies onto the one disk but I cannot work out how to do it on a mac, as the disk space fills up. I've downloaded "Burn" and "Visualhub" but neither seem to be able to do it.

Apr 23, 2010I have a Macbook Pro and I am trying to burn a dvd. From a movie I created in iMovie. I exported the movie, in a couple different methods. But I can't get the dvd to burn. "error code 0x80020022". I can burn cds successfully and I am almost 100% positive this mac can burn dvd's. I don't know what to do.

Jun 21, 2012I tried variety of CD-R's (Verbatim, Memolex, Maxell, Office Deipot brand, etc) . Sometimes Memolex works with very low speed (2X), but most of times fails with other brands.
What I saw is that iTunes prepared songs successfully but after start burning progress bar didn't move at all (for tens of minutes) and looked waiting for response from CD-R devices.
I tried with 2 machines below.
1. Mac mini (Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz, 1GB memory) with PIONEER DVD-RW DVR-K06RS: (replaced from factory part), OS 10.5.8
2. Macbook (Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz, 2GB memory) with HL-DT-ST DVDRW GS21N (LG?) (Apple shipping device), OS10.5.8
iTunes version is 10.6.3.

Jun 11, 2012Okay, so I am here at work, and have spent the last 4-5 hours trying to resolve this issue, and cannot find any working solutions for it on the internet. We have .3gp recordings. All of a sudden, we started getting this error on some of our computers. Example: I want to play test.3gp; I try to open test.3gp in QuickTime, and I get an error that reads...
"Error -2002: A bad public movie atom was found in the movie:test.3gp" But when I go to play test2.3gp, it plays fine. This issue varies from computer to computer. I get this error on all three of my machines. 2 Windows 7 64bit, and 1 Windows 7 32bit. My colleague and boss can play test.3gp fine through QuickTime on their computers. One is Windows 7 64bit the other is 32bit.
Anyone know some causes of this and hopefully a way to solve it? I tried cleaning up registry errors, running as administrator, updating, reinstalling... Nothing is working.

When viewing a movie file in my browser in Leopard, I was able to right click on it and save a copy to my desktop/computer. Sep 12, 2010I have an Early 2009 Mac Mini with Mini DVI and Mini DisplayPort. And I have two 1080p HDTVs. The Mac Mini is capable of dual display, and I've gotten it to work before, so the issue is not the TV or Mac. And I have tried both Mirroring and No Mirroring.
I got a Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter (#5311) and a Mini-DVI to HDMI Adapter (#4852) both from MonoPrice. And for some reason I can't get the Mac Mini to dual display, it's only one or the other.
Before I had a Mini Displayport Male and USB Male AUDIO to HDMI Female Converting Adapter (#5969) and I got video on both HDTVs, but not audio at the same time b/c one was USB and one was TOSLINK.
I'm not sure why I can't get video on both monitors. Any help?

Apr 6, 2009I need to connect my 09' Mac Mini to my Yamaha RX-V2700 receiver which outputs to my Sony XBR HDTV. I know the mini has both mini-dvi to dvi and mini-dp to dvi or hdmi available via adapters. I was thinking to go with option 1 however I was wondering what is your opinions? Is mini-display port better over mini-dvi or are they the same? Audio will be carried over optical toslink.
Option 1:
Using mini-dvi adapter to dvi: Connect Dvi-Hdmi cable to receiver and output audio with toslink adapter.
Option 2:
Using mini-dp adapter to dvi or hdmi: Connect Dvi-Hdmi cable to receiver and output audio with toslink adapter.
Mac Pro :: Burning A Blu Ray Using FCP?
Oct 12, 2009I got my LG blu ray burner today, installed it fine and my Mac does recognize it. So I went to FCP and under the File>Share there is the option to burn Blu Ray discs. So I picked my blu ray burner as the drive and about an hour later it asks me to insert the media. So I insert a Blu ray but then it ejects it back out.
I did this about 4 times and then threw in a DVD to see what would happen. To my surprise it looked like it started to do something and the percentage complete went up a little, then it ejects the DVD out and asks for me to put in a dual layered media. I mean the file is no bigger than 2 gigs so my single layer BD-R should be fine. I have heard lots of people talking about Toast 10 to author blu ray's, but the point is why should I spend the money if FCP and compressor should be able to get the job done?

Nov 14, 2009First, let me apologize if this question has been asked a zillion times before. I have searched but failed to find anything that would help me.
I like to build CD's from ITunes. After I burn the CD, I listen to it on my computer...no problem.
However, when I insert the CD in another player to listen...NOTHING!!!!
In the past I have done this and had no problems listening on another device...but all of a sudden I am unable to do. To be honest with you, I don't know anything about MP3 or other code names that everyone talks about.

Jul 22, 2006I'm quite new to Mac, and although everything is pretty clear, I haven't yet figured out how to burn a DVD. Everytime I try, it'll give an error 0x8002006E and stop burning.
- Reading is and has always been fine.
- I'm using Philips DVD-R discs.
- I'm on a white 2Ghz MacBook It's supposed to be able to burn DVD-R, right?
I have tried to do it from the finder, and creating a disc image, and burning it from the disk utility.

However, when I try and drag those to Toast, and try to burn the files, Toast always gives me an error. My question, how do correctly convert .avi files to dvd format so I can burn to a blank DVD? DVD Fab 6 to make the copy
DVD Shrink to shrink it so it will fit on a blank dvd
IMG Burn to burn the DVD...

I accedentally left my ACD on (30") today when i left at 8. when i got home at 5, and opened my computer animation app (blender, which starts out effectevly completely grey). I noticed a vauge impression of the screen i had left the acd on today. This DID happen before, and it goes away after a day or two. Still, it is annoying. I need a quick solution: Need to burn music for my upcoming wedding.
CD/DVD burner works outside of Itunes.
When trying to burn a CD in Itunes it crashes and asks if you would like to restart it.
Not the factory CD: But as stated above does work outside of Itunes.
Music is not locked either
Any Ideas anyone.
