Mar 28, 2012I can access my music, books, and apps libraries just fine. When I click on Movies or TV Shows libraries, iTunes quits unexpectedly. This has been happening for a few weeks, but I don't remember when I last updated iTunes. Currently, 10.6 is installed. I am assuming that this problem originated with my update to iTunes 10.6.

Even on my MBP when listening to music from iTunes. But Movies in iTunes don't work. The AirPlay icon in a movie playing in iTunes only shows "computer" and doesn't show any other options.

Dec 19, 2008I have Mac OS 10.4.11, and Safari 3.2.1. Safari crashes if I try to Cmd-click a link to get it to open in a new tab or right-click a bookmark and choose to open it in a new tab or a new window. It did not do that before I got the Safari update. I also cannot seem to get any content into more than 3 tabs without it crashing. Is there any way to fix it?

When I open iMovie, it correctly points to Aperture3 and begins to reference the movies in Aperture.
One quarter of the way through this process, iMovie hangs and crashes.

Feb 14, 2012In the past few days I have downloaded some movies through iTunes, some through iTunes purchases and some by entering the digital copy codes that came with DVDs/Blu-rays. When I try to sync these items with my iPad, I get a message that they cannot be synced. When I try to create an iPad version through the advanced menu, I get a message that they cannot be found. When I try to watch them on my MacBook using iTunes, I get a message that the movie requires QuickTime, which is not compatible with this version of iTunes.
How can I get these items to play and sync? They work if I open iTunes in 32-bit mode, but this is an annoying workaround. Plus, the iTunes support article says this is only necessary for "older media files" -- these are not old media; I just downloaded them. What is Apple doing selling files that are incompatible with its current version of iTunes? If I had known I had to go through such trouble to get them to play, I probably would not have bought them in the first place.

But I have a lot of films on my iMac and would like to copy or move those over to my laptop, but I'm not sure how to do it. Jun 20, 2012All of a sudden, iTunes is duplicating my movies. The duplicates are appearing in the same folder with the original, but with different cover art, and an "HD" symbol after the name. This is taking some serious hard drive space, which will run out before it gets very far. This is going to be a pain to fix, especially as I've chosen my cover art carefully, from old movie posters, etc. So, why is this happening, and how can I remedy it, aside from not using iTunes?

Jan 5, 2011Now I know how this looks... but trust me, I'm not here to commit piracy. I just wish to see my TV shows/Movies on my big screen. My FreeSat box has a USB port which reads many many file formats, but not iTunes protected .m4v's.
Is there any way at all to remove the DRM and convert the files into something like .mp4 or .avi or .mpg? I know it isn't strictly legal, but I'm not forking out �99 for a TV and having another household running appliance when my FreeSat box can do just a good a job.

Now Since I own the movie, can I move the movie to my wife's version of itunes (residing on a difference computer) so she can load it and watch it on her iphone? the only work around is see for this it to buy the DVD at a store, and use something like DVD-to-iPhone to make a copy.
