I can access my music, books, and apps libraries just fine. When I click on Movies or TV Shows libraries, iTunes quits unexpectedly. This has been happening for a few weeks, but I don't remember when I last updated iTunes. Currently, 10.6 is installed. I am assuming that this problem originated with my update to iTunes 10.6.

I love AirPlay. I use it on my iPod Touch the moment I get home to play music to my speakers connected via AirPort Express. I use it on my iPad too when i'm watching a movie..
Even on my MBP when listening to music from iTunes. But Movies in iTunes don't work. The AirPlay icon in a movie playing in iTunes only shows "computer" and doesn't show any other options.
I have Mac OS 10.4.11, and Safari 3.2.1. Safari crashes if I try to Cmd-click a link to get it to open in a new tab or right-click a bookmark and choose to open it in a new tab or a new window. It did not do that before I got the Safari update. I also cannot seem to get any content into more than 3 tabs without it crashing. Is there any way to fix it?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have just installed Aperture3 on my MacBookPro 10.6.2.
I imported my iPhoto library to Aperture.
I have hundreds of movies in Aperture from two Canon cameras.
When I open iMovie, it correctly points to Aperture3 and begins to reference the movies in Aperture.
One quarter of the way through this process, iMovie hangs and crashes.
I'll try and click on a link and nothing, then I click bookmrks in the menu bar, it works, then i can go back and be to click on the link and it'll work.

But not available for my Mac right? The iPad can show a HD movie and my Late 2008 Macbook is incapable of doing so?
I mean, I like Apple products and I'm not too fussed for HD, but this is the most bizarre limitation I know,
I cannot find any way to import movies into iTunes? I've tried dragging them in. Pressing the button 'Add to Libray' and pressing the button 'Import'
And that's all i've tried. What am I doing wrong?
Was browsing the iTunes store and noticed that there's now the option to purchase some movies in HD (like Punisher: War Zone and Transporter 3). Has anyone tried to purchase HD movies in iTunes?
View 18 Replies View Related im an experienced mac user so im actually kind of embarrassed to be asking this but i never buy movies through iTunes so im not sure.
If i download a movie through itunes can i throw it onto a usb flash drive and then take it and play it on various other computers / xbox? or does it have DRM restrictions that force it to only play on the computer i download it onto?
In the past few days I have downloaded some movies through iTunes, some through iTunes purchases and some by entering the digital copy codes that came with DVDs/Blu-rays. When I try to sync these items with my iPad, I get a message that they cannot be synced. When I try to create an iPad version through the advanced menu, I get a message that they cannot be found. When I try to watch them on my MacBook using iTunes, I get a message that the movie requires QuickTime, which is not compatible with this version of iTunes.
How can I get these items to play and sync? They work if I open iTunes in 32-bit mode, but this is an annoying workaround. Plus, the iTunes support article says this is only necessary for "older media files" -- these are not old media; I just downloaded them. What is Apple doing selling files that are incompatible with its current version of iTunes? If I had known I had to go through such trouble to get them to play, I probably would not have bought them in the first place.

I have recently bought a new laptop to use whilst travelling. I have downloaded iTunes to it and bought some new bits. But I have a lot of films on my iMac and would like to copy or move those over to my laptop, but I'm not sure how to do it. I've tried plugging in an external hard drive and clicking and dragging to it, but it hasn't worked.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I go to Purchased, I see movies available that I have already downloaded. I have tried deleting the movies and re-downloading them but it had no affect. iTunes does not recognize that I already have the movies. To save wasted responses:
* I deleted and redownloaded the movies
* I restarted iTunes
* I restarted the computer
* These are identical movies (no HD/SD differences)

I have spent the last hour attempting to add some movies to my ITunes library. These files are all in mp4 format.I have never had trouble before today, but whether I try to add them to the library through the menu, or drag and drop, nothing happens.I have the most recent ITunes software and am using a MacBook Pro with Lion.

All of a sudden, iTunes is duplicating my movies. The duplicates are appearing in the same folder with the original, but with different cover art, and an "HD" symbol after the name. This is taking some serious hard drive space, which will run out before it gets very far. This is going to be a pain to fix, especially as I've chosen my cover art carefully, from old movie posters, etc. So, why is this happening, and how can I remedy it, aside from not using iTunes?

Now I know how this looks... but trust me, I'm not here to commit piracy. I just wish to see my TV shows/Movies on my big screen. My FreeSat box has a USB port which reads many many file formats, but not iTunes protected .m4v's.
Is there any way at all to remove the DRM and convert the files into something like .mp4 or .avi or .mpg? I know it isn't strictly legal, but I'm not forking out 99 for a TV and having another household running appliance when my FreeSat box can do just a good a job.
I down loaded a movie from itunes on to :apple my ipad and it took 3 hours. So i downed the same movie to my iPod touch and it only took 1 1/2 hr. What up with that?
View 1 Replies View RelatedSorry if its been covered but I went through 4 pages and didn't see this asked. This morning I looked at the new movie section and saw most come in around 1.3gb or so, which seems too small to burn to dvd with any amount of quality.
So are these movie downloads strictly for ipods? If so, I just can't see spending $10-13 to do this.
If I purchase a movie on iTunes, it loads into my movie section of iTunes and I can load it onto my iphone. Now Since I own the movie, can I move the movie to my wife's version of itunes (residing on a difference computer) so she can load it and watch it on her iphone? the only work around is see for this it to buy the DVD at a store, and use something like DVD-to-iPhone to make a copy.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIn the new itunes update, 8.1.1, it does mention it.
Is it in the store, but not highlighted as HD? or movies are not available to rent in HD yet?
Is there a way to group movies in itunes vs having every single one listed?
I want to for a direcotry...such as :Seinfeld, Family Guy, etc
I just wanted to pass along info on a new web app that might be of some use to iTunes Movie watchers, it's called Cinemira, which provides web previews for the entire iTunes Movie Store.
You can search the entire iTunes movie catalog with emphasis on finding iTunes HD content. Cinemira also provides a daily list of all new movies added to the iTunes Movie Store including rental, purchase, and pre-order titles.
You can do all of this from your favorite "modern" web browser. Cinemira is currently in open beta so anyone can register and use it. Check it out at [URL]
