Hours before the iMac was fine but the next time took too long to startup and when it worked there was not Bluetooth available. I did already repair permissions and disk, everything seems to be fine, the status of the volumen is "verified", but still taking too long to start up and no news from bluetooth. In /Library/Preference Panes/ there is a Bluetooth pane.

I have a small, well its not a problemm but anyway.
My macbook (late 2009) Is taking ages to start up. I just recently had my Logic Board fixed (headphone jack screwed up) and after picking it up from the shop it takes ages to start up... First there is a grey screen for about 30 sec. then the apple logo appears with the turning wheel thing for another 50 sec....
I do have over 40% harddisk space left... I only have BTT as a startup item and in /MacHD/Libary/startupitems i only have PACESupport....

Lately I have been having troubles with my Mac Book Pro 13", updated to OS X 10.7.3.
I noticed it takes reaaaaally long to startup after updated OS to the latest version, as with the previous one it was working just fine.
Most of the times, it crashes before being able to load all information on desktop (Note: I always quit all applications before switching it off, so it doesn't have to load any of them)
Once it started, then it works ok, not even particularly slowly.

If I let the system boot normally, it boots as fast as usual. And no problems during work, either. But if I boot holding the "Option" key pressed, the startup manager screen takes about 3 minutes to show up. When it does show up, however, it works as expected. This happens even if I have no external devices connected at all.

The problem is, each time I restart my computer or put it back on again, it takes around 20 mins to start up. At the grey screen there is a grey bar that takes 20 mins to load.
Should I reinstall snow leopard?

It takes about 2 minutes to have network connectivity after my system starts up. Is this normal for a macpro? I don't have that problem on my macbook pro.
I have the early 2008 release MP. get the network connectivity to start as soon as desktop is displayed like my macbook pro?

Is this normal? I've tried changing the number of cores to use at startup as 2 and its a second faster....a second! Anyway, is it normal for it to take 1 minute 45 to start up? I didn't seem to take that long before but its suddenly started doing it.
EDIT: Just to point out, its the 2.53ghz, 4gb macbook pro with 250gb HDD

I'm running Lion 10.7.3.
shift + control + cmd + 3 used to work, as did + 4 to capture sections, but as of today these featuers no longer work. I hear the camera noise as if its working, yet nothing shows up on the desktop. I've tried restarting and I've tried changing the location of where the shots go. No dice.

Just happening within the last couple weeks... 2.9GHz i5 iMac running 10.9.3..Energy Saver settings set to default from day 1..Display is set to turn off after 10 minutes, put hard disks to sleep when possible, and wake for network access. The screen used to pop right back on after hitting the keyboard or moving the bluetooth mouse... Now it still sometimes comes right back and other times take up to 15 seconds. Just happening the last 2-3 weeks.

my work computer (Windows), but my 2012 iMac that I've had for 2 years has worked flawlessly up until recently. A few days ago it started taking forever to display files in finder. I had to keep relaunching, and it would freeze. I tried the workaround that was posted here but that didn't work either. It went away for a few days, but last night it really came back with a vengeance. The relaunch finder trick only showed the current folder, while navigating to other folders would simply show the loading icon forever.
Also, my iMac was shutdown for over an entire day yesterday, and when I turned it on the " Your computer restarted because of a problem". came up. I've never experienced this problem before, but after 3-4 tries it finally logged in to the Home screen. This is when I noticed the above (finder problems) returning from a few days ago after being absent. The finder issues continued, so I restarted the mac, and it just kept cycling over and over (reboot, try to load, auto-reboot, etc.).
Is this an issue with the HDD? I did a disk utility check the other day and it said everything was in great shape.

I have an iMac model identifier 9.1, with Mac OS X v10.5.8 and safari version 5.0.6. All programs are running normally (fast) except safari. When I try to load webpages it takes about 11 seconds to fully load. All other computers in my house are connected to the same internet and running fine. What do I do to make the loading faster?

Our 2011 iMac with SSD takes 2:15 (two minutes and fifteen seconds) to start up. Start up on a SSD should be faster. OS X version 10.7.4 and applications are on the SSD. Any suggestions for correcting this lack of speedy start up?

My one week old iMac 2.7GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5. first started problems by not goping to sleep even when I forced it.
I shut it down using the shut off button and unplugging it from power for more than 5 munites.
I turned it back on, it does the usual startup chime and then gray screen. I have restarted twice from the shot off button and still getting the same result.

Just received the "Please turn machine off by holding power button" error... now my machine won't turn on. It makes the chime, loads the status bar about 10% then turns off. Tried starting in safe mode: no luck. Held Shift+cmd+V and it loaded most of the text, as expected, but then turned off again without completion. I did try verifying and repairing disk permissions on a disk a few hours prior... which failed. But I was merely browsing on Safari when the initial error appeared.
