I have a Macbook and an iMac Intel desktop.
I want to use iCal on my desktop so that my macbook can be updated at the the same time. How do I do this? how I can also access the same docs online from both computers (iMac not big enough to run iCloud) I would also be grateful.

I just did the newest security Apple OS X update and after rebooting the default Apple wallpaper was back on the desktop. I tried to change it but nothing will override the Apple wallpaper.
If I go to the Desktop settings, it shows the image of the wallpaper I have selected but its not shown on the desktop. How can I correct this?

I just got the second card I'm trying today: ATI X800 XT AGP, and my computer will just sit at the grey apple screen with no wheel spinning. I'm assuming this is a driver issue (or something much worse)! Since my computer will not boot, I have no idea how to update the drivers for this card.
It is odd: pre update (the latest) I could download to my literal desktop, or drag and drop a photo from iPhoto, an mp3 to mail later from iTunes.....Now I can only do that from within the finder in the "desktop" window. In other words: If I download (I prefer to download onto my desktop rather than the download folder-window. I want to have control over ny desktop again (rather than the folder-window entitled "desktop".
