I recently uninstalled Norton Antivirus, however it still shows that it is on my computer. I will do a search for it and it asks where it is located. I am trying to download the newest version of Flash-player but I can't download it because I supposedly need to disable the antivirus software that I have that I already uninstalled.
I sent a request the other day for help regarding my downloading Adobe Flash Player 188.8.131.52 and losing the ability to play my games( they were bookmarked from the web) because of missing plug- ins. I mentioned that I know very little about this computer. I did get a reply saying that he needed more information about my computer which I sent and I have not heard anything back. I probably did not send the message correctly therefore I am sending the info again and I hope I don't screw it up this time.
I am a big rugby fan and like to listen to my team (tigers) play when there not on TV. However this requires real player. Having had a bad experience with this program in the past I am reluctant to install it again. Is there there any plug in I can get for os x and vista so I can listen to the radio without installing real player?
I use OS 10.4.11. Real Player worked fine until I downloaded the latest version 11. Now when I try to view a video posted on a website I get the message, "Invalid Socket Error." I Goolgled and read Error #18. It told me to ask my ISP for proxy information. My ISP told me there are no proxies for my account.
I've been googling for and app that would let me convert real media files to format that would let me burn them to dvd and play on a dvd player and that can also be played in quicktime. A free app maybe?
've been using Real Player and the Real Player downloader to download YouTube video clips, and until yesterday all was fine. Yesterday evening however, the downloader decided to stop working and now just sits there doing nothing when I play a YouTube clip. Real Player itself works fine.
I've already trashed and reinstalled Real Player twice but to no avail. The odd thing is every time I've reinstalled it it has remembered the clips I'd been playing before I trashed it.
How to download SD video's from the ITunes store without making it complicated?
Right now, I am buying HD versions of videos so I can play them to their greatest on the Apple TV. I don't however want the HD version of the video on my iphone, SD is fine and doesn't take up huge amounts of space. Right now, I have to go the ITunes store on my iphone, search for the movie and then scroll to the bottom and click "Available in SD" and then click download.
Surely there has to be an easier way?! I should just be able to go to "Videos" on the iphone, and then download in SD, but it will only do it in HD and I cant afford to have a single file taking up 4gb of space.

this happens at least 2-3 times a day. I will click to go to a youtube video, or some video on a site. The download box will immediately pop up and it will start to download the flv file of the video i'm watching. It gets annoying, but it doesn't happen all the time.

I have got a iMac 2011 27inch i5 2.7GHZ 4Gb RAM, i was wondering what is the average consumption should be with the system memory and how much on average should be free? Because mine used to have 2.6GB free and now my Imac is running more slowly and is about 1.38GB free.
I'm having trouble view YouTube videos. When I try to view a video, it tells me my flash player isn't up to date. But when I download the latest player from the link they provide(which it tells me is successful), I still can't view the video.
Anybody have any ideas what I might be doing wrong?
