When I hold command and hit + while in safari, I no longer zoom in on the page.Comand and - still zooms out.I'm guessing one of my kiddos changed a setting, but I"m a new Mac user and don't know where to look to change it back.

For no apparent reason the command-space keyboard shortcut no longer works for opening Spotlight. I go into the preferences for Spotlight and it shows no keyboard shortcut, I make it command-space again, exit, and it still doesn't work. If I go back into the preferences, it is blank again. What is going on?

Started up last night, everything seemed fine. Got the desktop up, and then it zooms in on the cursor. I can move the cursor, but obviously I really can't do anything since the image it so large. the size of the cursor is about the size of the mouse. I've tried to reboot, restart, shut down and unplugged but I always get the same thing. It appears that a setting has somehow been changed to "extreme zoom". I have a G4 iMac, about 5 years old.

Would it be possible to make this happen with the right graphics card and computing power?And how do I get this suggestion presented to the wizards behind the iTunes Program?

I am using a wireless mouse on my intel iMac, and when I am using Safari, and no other program, when I am navigating, the screen will suddenly zoom in and get huge. I don't think I am doing anything repeatable when this happens. I cannot do anything to zoom back out. So, I need to go back a page and start over at the normal screen size.This is annoying, especially when I have just reached a page I need to see.

Is there a command line tool I can use to record audio on my intel imac? In Linux, I use the arecord tool and was wondering if there is something similar for the Mac. Still using the iMac we purchased about 5 years ago, and it's working fine. About a year ago, the numeric keypad on our wired keyboard stopped working. Anytime one of the keys was pressed on the number pad, the whole computer would freeze completely, and would have to be restarted.
A few weeks ago, we decided to stop tolerating this, and purchased a new wired keyboard with the numeric keypad. The numbers still don't work, and all the F buttons don't either. The volume controls don't work, and I've tried reconfigurating them. But they only end up working in iTunes.
We plugged back in the old keyboard and the same thing happened. Number pad doesn't work and the volume controls, etc. don't work.
Called Apple and they told me to call the store. So I called the Apple store we purchased the keyboard from, and they had no idea. Just told me to return the keyboard...
I don't want to have to try installing programs to get this to work. It really should be simpler than that.

Post updates for some applications other than Aperture it now won't properly export RAW. Get a 'no longer support AWR files message. Do I need to reset something in 'Preferences'? In addition some of the 'view' selections would not respond until a restart, after which the same message occured. Need info as to why RAW will not export (tried to get to the desktop, a burn folder anything with 19 photos unedited).

I have an Imac which used to emit sound from my desktop speakers. Now they've stopped. I've tried Iceclean, turning off bluetooth, and running disk utility repair. All of which hasn't solved the problem. I tried the speakers with my laptop and they work fine. So I tried a different set of speakers with my Imac thinking it might be the speakers, but they work fine with the laptop. The speakers are connected into the headphone jack. In the sound pane, output source does not show the connected speakers. When the jack is removed from the headphone connection sound is heard from the built in speakers from the Imac. I have the latest IOS software installed.
