Hardware :: Wireless WiFi Printers Compatible With XP / Mac

Nov 5, 2008

I've got a MacBook Pro, and then I've also got 2 other Windows XP laptops. I'm looking for a wireless wifi printer that I'll be able to use with all 3 notebooks. I want something that also scans and copies. I don't care about fax. Also trying to stay below $150. Looking at Epson 700 and Kodak ESP 7.

MacBook Air :: With OS X 10.9.3 Will Not Find Any Wireless Printers

My macbook air 2013 with OS X 10.9.3 will not find any wireless printers. I've tried to add printers at a number of different locations and each time it fails to find any printers despite one's being online and fully functional. I am able to print from my iPhone on these networks to the wireless printers but my macbook air won't find any at all? The macbook air is online using the wifi network no problem - just won't find any printers.

Mac Pro :: Compatible PCI 802.11n Wireless NIC

Dec 22, 2009

I am looking for a compatible PCI 802.11n wireless NIC to put in my Mac Pro. I have seen an internal module that is 802.11n and has to be screwed in, but it'll be quicker to throw in a PCI card. Are there any I can buy at any big box electronic store or should I just go and find the internal, screw-in card?

Hardware :: Best Compatible Express Card Wifi Cards?

Feb 27, 2008

I need a wifi card for my MacBook Pro (preferably N, but G is OK), and an ExpressCard version seems the best choice, however I'm having a really hard time finding one in stores, much less one that I know is Mac compatible. It seems the PC-world's reluctance to move on from PCMCIA is slowing down progress in this area.

There must be an expressCard wifi card out there that works with a MBP running leopard. Does anyone know of one?

PowerPC :: Compatible G3 Wireless Card

I've been given a PowerBook G3. I'm not sure which version it is or anything. But its a PowerBook G3 because it says on the screen. How do I find out exactly what machine I've been given and what wireless card to have a look for. I wouldn't mind spending a couple of quid on ebay for an old second hand airport card just for fun really. Its got os9 on atm. I've got an old osx10.1 disk somewhere I might try and update it a little.

Hardware :: Wireless Keyboard / Mouse Compatible With Mac / PC?

Jan 6, 2009

I just got a new Macbook and I'm loving it! I also have a desktop PC, although I much prefer using the Mac I have some programs and such that can only be on PC or that I cannot afford to buy for Mac. The one issue about having a laptop is that I find typing when at my desk quite difficult, and have started getting back and shoulder ache from leaning forward to type. I thought about getting a wireless keyboard (and maybe a mouse too) so that I can use a keyboard for the Mac when at my desk. The thing is, I already have a PC keyboard and mouse on my desk and have limited space. Is there an option for a wireless keyboard that is compatible for both PC and Mac? And is it possible to have one keyboard and mouse for two computers? I probably won't be using the two at the same time ever.

Hardware :: Wireless N USB Dongle - Other Mac Compatible Brands?

Apr 1, 2009

I would like to get a USB wireless N dongle for my old PC, easy enough to do I was going to go with a Linksys WUSB600N but then realized I might as well get something that is Mac compatible so I can sometimes use it on my old PowerBook. After doing some research I found out that newer TrendNet dongles and some D-Link dongles are Mac compatible. I don't know about TrendNet because they always seemed a little cheap, I've used D-Link routers before and they're ok but the dongles compatibility with Macs seems to depend on the hardware revision. Are there any other brands who make Mac compatible wireless N USB dongles?

Hardware :: Wireless USB Docking Station Mac Compatible?

Dec 30, 2009

I noticed Kennsington's wireless USB docking station on sale at Frys Site earlier this morning. The description mentions the docking station is Mac compatible. I've searched these forums and the net and haven't found any threads on people using this with a Mac in the past, it seems wayyy too good to be true. I was hoping somebody a little more tech savvy than myself might be able to weigh in on this. I attached the link to the USB docking station below and I also own a mid-late 2008 MBP. [URL].

Windows On Mac :: Unable To Use Wifi / Wireless Card Not Recognized On Bootcamp

So, I got the Polycarbonate Macbook , Parallels 5, and Windows 7 Home Premium. I installed windows on bootcamp and had parallels use the partition for windows and I got it all working, all the drivers on Windows are great, except the wifi. It's not even saying I've got a wireless card installed, it won't recognize that I have one in my Mac. But when I use parallels and when I boot it as a regular Mac, it works great. I've looked around and haven't found an answer to this? Anyone found a solution or could help?
