Applications :: Adium Contact List Disappeared
May 4, 2008I've been using Adium for the past month or so for IM, and as of the past couple of days, no matter what I do, I can not make the contact list visible. I've tried deactivating and reactivating it via the Window menu, I've tried changing the settings on when it's supposed to appear, and I've even tried reinstalling the application once, but nothing is working. Does anybody have an idea how to fix this, or should I just stick with iChat for now?

May 17, 2010I added someone the other day, and now every time I log in it says "XXX@hotmail.com on the local list is inside the group "Friends" but not on the server list. Do you want this buddy to be added?" It doesn't say this on IM+ on my iPod Touch, and the contact doesn't show up until I click add. Is there any reason for this? Is there any way I can permanently add them or something?

Oct 4, 2009When someone logs off of Facebook, their name still appears in my buddy list. It's grayed out, but still there. I usually have to go to File > (My Facebook Account) > "Refresh Buddy List" for their name to disappear.

Mar 21, 2010I've just been getting into Adium today for the first time and been customising everything but theres 2 things I can't figure out. I've been on Google for the past hour and I still can't find what I'm after.
First off can you hide the menu bar on your contact list? It looks horrible with some themes.
Secondly can you remove the service icons from your contact list? I hate having loads of MSN logos going down my desktop.
If anyone could help me on either of issues i will love you forever.
