MacBook Pro :: Running WillMaker In Mac Using Windows Emulator?
Apr 19, 2012At some point I would like to use a Windows ONLY program called WillMaker by Nolo Press. But it is Windows only. If it is not graphics intensive would this be a good candidate to run in some Windows emulator window? Does OS X Lion by any chance have any Windows emulator built into it or are emulators the domain of 3rd parties?
1. Anyone successfully run WillMaker in OS X Lion?
2. Assuming a separate Windows emulator is necessary (either Apple or 3rd party) are there any consider most robust?
3. If a dedicated Windows 7 or 8 (when it comes out) is the only way to successfully use WillMaker do tell but I will certainly hold off longer.

May 17, 2010My mother is working on an important document with Word 2004, and it's fairly big at ~100 pages. The problem, is that people have sent through their own sections from their PC versions of Word, and their sections have [Type text] in the footer area. We cannot find a way to remove this text, and it doesn't actually show up when we reveal the footer. It prints this on every page, so we really need to find a way to get rid of it!

When I open the file in CS3 the fonts are missing.

I have upgraded recently with Snow Leopard and my printers wont work. Could this be why the fonts won't load?

Mar 10, 2010Just like many of you I purchased the Macheist Nanobundle and am looking to finally put the domain names i've been paying for over a year for to use. One will be a personal blog. The second I wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with but I have figured it out.
What i'd like to do is be able to post up RSS news feed items from multiple different websites so that friends and family and read the best of. Basically i'll filter through everything (as I already do) and just forward on the best of items. Currently I have all of my RSS feeds through google reader, and currently read them on NetNewsWire on my mac. Is there a current application or website which will allow me to do this?

Oct 11, 2010I'm posting from my iPhone right now, as my problem isn't even letting me log in to my user. I'm using Mac version 10.5.8.
When I was on the computer, it had a spasm that came out of nowhere. When I would use the scroll wheel, the screen would zoom in and out, I was only able to right click, and various keys would bring up that dull tone if I pressed them. I restarted the computer, as it is the solutions to most problems, only to not be able to log in. The only way I could type anything is my holding the option key and typing letters, pressing the return key (the return key came as a character), or pressing q and typing. I have no idea what each thing does.

I am going to need to plug in my Mac Pro, LCD monitor, laser printer, speakers, and mouse (MX1000). Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations as to how much protection I need for that? They have so many varieties with different voltages. I have no idea what a Mac Pro requires. All I know is that after spending that kind of money I want to protect my investment with something of high quality.
