View 6 RepliesI'll start off with a screenshot.I'm specifically talking about the bar on the right hand side, that slides from the red I chose to black. Is there anyway I could have that same sliding-type bar, only sliding from red to white? Is there anyway I could have them both up at the same time? (So I'd have two different sliding bars, one going to the black and one going to the white) (Or actually, even if they could be combined... that would be sweet too. So the sliding bar looks like ms paints sliding bar, basically white, color you have, black)If I'm a little bit too confusing please respond with your question and I'll try to explain it a little bit more.

View 2 Replies View Relatedbefore switching to Mac, I used an "X-Rite Eye One Display 2" color meter device with software. You can find them most places like Amazon for about $150. The device should still work, but I can't find any software for it for the Mac. After going to the X-Rite web site, I could find no software at all for the Mac as it is only windows based.
Surely someone out there has used a color meter such as this one as they are quite popular especially for graphics artists that use professional graphic monitors. I am hoping someone can tell me how to use my color meter (USB), what software for Mac Leopard I need and how to save the color profile in the Mac OS.
I haven't had this work with Lion on my macbook pro that just died nor the Macbook Air I just got. I use accents on letters all the time and it would be really helpfu. I've tried turning off key repeat, that doesn't help. I tried copy and pasting something into terminal I saw on one of the other discussions, but that didn't help either (although it is possible I did it wrong since I don't use Terminal hardly ever).

I have an 09 Mac Pro Nehalem, with nvida gt120 graphics card running 10.6.2 with the latest mac pro 1.4 efi and two 23 inch Apple cinema displays (the older DVI kind)
I go into system preferences>displays>color and try to adjust color on my monitors but selecting different color settings on either monitor only affects ONE monitor, the other monitor is essentially stuck at whatever color setting it is set to.
When starting the iMac in the mornings, the upper strip of the desktop appears in the screen color instead of white. What could this be?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have Foxfire 3.5.7 and I want to make sure that it is being color managed and showing things on the web in sRGB. I did a google search and frequently come up with the steps of:
1. type 'about:config' in the address line
2. then change 'gfx.color_management_enabled' to 'true'
The problem is that I don't have that preference. The closest thing I have is below. And for the value it isn't 'true' or false' but it links to a color profile. Why don't I have that preference from #2? Is my browser color managed currently though?

I recently downloaded and installed Office 2011 and I was wondering if anybody knew of a way to change the background color from grey to anything you want. In 2008, there was a file in the Contents-->Resources folder called "Page Layout View Background Rest" that you could replace with any image and the background would change (by 'background', I mean the actual grey color on each side of the word document, not the background of the document itself).

View 1 Replies View Relatedwhere my bookmarks are, it's light grey. This may seem trivial, but it's bugging the ***** out of me lol. It happened recently [~week or two] ago when I was on Leopard. When I upgraded to SL, I hoped the issue would resolve itself, but it carried over. I also tried reinstalling Safari to see if that would work, but it didn't.
Also, I logged into my Guest account to see if it happened there too, but nope. Its only my account, so it's something user specific..I just have no idea what.
I am looking for a html text editor that color codes html tags. I am used to using cuteHTML on Windows which works EXCELLENT! I would assume there is something like this on OSx? I dont want anything to "build" webpages for me like Dreamweaver. For doing html by hand (and copy/paste) the colors really help your eyes work on a complex page easier than just using textedit for example.
