Applications :: Coversutra Is Quitting Unexpectedly?
Jan 10, 2009I bought Coversutra on Thursday. Started using it on Friday. And it's quit on me twice. And, I didn't do anything to cause it too quit. Has this happened to anyone else?

But web developers have become wily it seems. No longer do the old methods appear to work. I've tried: Apps for downloading youtube videos, using the Activity window in Safari (only a small SWF file of about 21kb appears in the activity window), numerous Firefox plugins� To no avail.
There are apparently apps for Windows that can manage to download these tricky types of videos, is there anything or any method on the Mac? I've been ripping my hair out trying. I've searched the forum, but none of the suggested methods work.

May 10, 2009When downloading small files online they will download through Speed Download. Before I installed Speed Download it would just download through the regular downloading client. How do I change it back to using the regular one as standard? I use firefox btw

Apr 9, 2009I've got a real odd problem with safari 4. For some reason it is cutting my download speeds in about 1/2 from my server and many other places.
If I restart safari I will be able to download close to my 18 Mbps for a little bit but then it will just start to slow down and after about 30 minutes it will be down to about 6 - 8 Mbps.

Sep 18, 2009For some reason, now a few weeks after installing Snow Leopard, when I open Stickies it tells me I have an older version (6.0) that is not compatible. Is there anywhere I can download the .app and replace it in my Applications folder? Can I find that on the SL disc, or will I have to do some sort of reinstall?

Nov 13, 2010Some download links on the internet are re-direct links ie you can't right click to save link as (such as on the apple site for itunes 10.1) for some reason on both safari and firefox with these links it just loads the page and no download dialog box opens, i've disabled pop up blockers on both but it still seems not to work, what am i doing wrong? I know i could use software updates but i want to re-install the programs so that won't work

Jun 2, 2012Every time I try to download any application, for example today I am trying to download Gimp for Mac, the window goes blank and in the browser it looks like it's loading but then nothing comes up. I have tried creating a new user account but the same thing happens when I download in that one. I think it is a system issue but I am not technically minded and so struggle to figure out what is happening. I can download iTunes, apps from the app store. But nothing else. Even flashplayer updates don't download.

I have an app that will take out the video and turn the audio into mp3 which works perfectly
but I do not have an app that will download the video to view it at a later time.
I used to use Jdownloader , but downloading stops with a message saying "Aborted" , and sometimes when it is downloaded , the video will be corrupted with a blackout.

May 2, 2009I am having huge issues getting a Zip File from my Shared Hosting with 1 and 1.com.
The zip file on their server is 557 MB. and i try to get the file, but keeps stalling when downloading
and then it stops at 555 MB. Then i try to Unzip the File and it looks somewhat corrupted !
I tried a couple different UnZip Apps, and The Unarchiver seemed to work better than the default Mac Unzipper......
What can be the issue here and What is the most rugged UnZipper for Mac ?

Jan 16, 2010I'm uploading videos i've shot with my camera, edited and uploaded to YouTube in HD. I do plan on making a backup with an external HD but don't have access to it till I go back home in a few months, so was wondering how can I download my own videos from YouTube, preferably in HD? Currently i've been using the programs "iSky Free Video Downloader" & "Tooble."
But I'm almost certain they don't download in HD.
