I know what it is, so I know simply deleting it won't help. I don't understand why it's suddenly showing up on the desktop though! More of a nuisance than anything.
I bought a used mac mini and I was viewng the App Store and wanted to purchase IPhoto app but it was purchase previously and could not update because not associated with my Apple ID. I am unable to log out of the Mac App Store. Under the Store menu it says "View my account (my@email.com)". When I click Log Out nothing happens. I've deleted all the files in the ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore and rebooted the computer. I'm still logged in. I've signed out of iTunes, iCloud, and the Apple ID under Users & Groups.
So I have this game I'm trying to update... When I click the update buttin it ask's for my age since it is GTAIII... when I click ok.. the update turns gray as if its about to update then goes back to dark gray and nothing happens.
I am going to the software update and when it loads the app store does not show up. I've tried looking at the different updates for over 6 months and still havn't found the mac app store.
I've had this problem for a while now. I can open up the app store fine and view apps however there is a probelm when i try to install one.I click on the app, the button turns green and says 'Install app', I then click on it to install and all that happens is the loading wheel (in the top left hand corner next to the forward and back naviagtion buttons) continues to turn indefinitely.
Since a few weeks ago, I have not been able to purchase anymore apps because of a somewhat PATHETIC bug.
When the system wants to confirm my info it get stuck with a very stupid problem, it tells me to fix the STATE I live in by choosing a 2 word option from the list or using numbers, well, It is absolutely correct from the start, and the system keeps telling me to fix the info of the state I live in, what the heck is going on? It's 100% correct! What can i do? BTW, I have a brazilian account, the bug refers to the brazilian address..

We have published our app and updated our app several times. But now we cannot upload our app anymore for review. We get stuck on the following error:
Apple's web service operation was not successful
Unable to authenticate the package:
ERROR ITMS-7002: "Caught exception validating "MZItmspRootPackage.validateLanguageCodeExists"" at (MZItmspRootPackage)
We do not have any clue what could be the problem. We reversed our code to the previous version and tried to upload the binary again but without success.
I recently purchased a Macbook Air 11" (July 2011 model) which came preinstalled with Lion (can't remember the version) and iLife 11.
On my first boot I noticed that the Mac App Store popped up a few updates and one of the updates was iPhoto 9.2.3. When I attempted to install the update, I was prompted to first update my Mac OS as the update was not applicable to my (then) Mac OS version.
I promptly updated my Lion version to 10.7.3 through Software Updates and attempted the iPhoto update again - nada! Mac App Store now says: "This update is not available", "You Must have previously purchased this item ..." and then prompts me to 'buy' the item (iPhoto 11?).
I haven't clicked on the 'buy' button in the fear of being charged to my linked Apple ID account and I am wondering why I am supposed to buy iPhoto when my MBA came preinstalled with iLife 11.
I wnated to download the new mountain lion software but I can't get it in the App Store, because there is no App Store on my computer. Can I download it? Is it supposed to be in my applications folder?
I want to update my Xcode from 4.2 to 4.3.2 but I am unable to download the update. When I tried to do this for the first time, the the button "installieren" was green and I was asked first for my Apple-ID. Then it seemed to start the download, but I was asked to read and accept the license first. Since I accepted it, the button is grey. I also tried to move the "Install Xcode.app" from my Applications folder. No help. Do I really need to uninstall everything first, to update?
I can't update iMovie, just to clear the red spot on the menu bar since I don't use it, update says I need to purchase but I have iMovie 9.0.4 and update is 9.0.6, do I need to purchase?
So my iPod is all kinds of glitching. None of the apps are working. I press them and they open for a second and then close themselves out. Them I tried installing a new app, a free one, bit it's glitching. I go to the app store, search for Any game but when I press free, it does this weird thing where the free button moves and then all I can see I half the install button. I tried pressing the half-install button but it does nothing. I tried restarting the iPod nut it's the same thing once I turn it back on.
i recently got 2 updates in MAS and as soon as i tried to update, i got errors for both apps. It's saying unable to run installation: I tried to repair permissions but gettin the same error every time. What is the problem?
