View 1 RepliesI just did a clean install on my Mac mini to clean out old unwanted files. When I got to the point of redownloading all my iTunes purchases I checked to see if everything was downloaded and it keeps showing that 1 movie and 1 tv show need downloading yet they already are downloaded both SD and HD. Why do these videos not go away under the Not on my Computer tab once downloaded?

I purchased my first movie in iTunes on the iPad 2 and I didn't realise how much space this would take up - this was only showing when I was already downloading it - it took up over 6GB of space and I have no idea how to get rid of it again or archive/move it somewhere else?

My computer says that the storage disk is almost full, and when I looked at my storage information it says I have too many movies. So I went back into iTunes and I try to delete my movies (which are all under iCloud) and they aren't removed from my computer nor does space clear on my computer.

I have the MacBook Pro 2010 13" and recently I've noticed my disc space is slowly decreasing with use.Im not downloading files or anything, but today I lost around 600 MB of space, I just kept opening my Finder to discover less and less disc space each time.
Is this normal or do I have a problem, this is the first time I've noticed it in the month and a half I've owned the machine.
I have a MacBook Pro with a 500GB HD with only 76 GB of space left. I moved 200GB of movie files to an external drive then deleted the movie files from my Mac so I could free up the space on the HD. For some reason the HD still shows only 76GB of space available even though the entire movie folder was deleted. Is there something I need to do to get finder to update the GB available?
View 4 Replies View RelatedImporting a small motion movie into fcpx and I get this error "There is not enough disk space available at the selected destination. View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been running out of hard drive space and have deleted a whole bunch of files... even deleted all the languages i didn't need from all my applications... about a week ago i freed up around 2GB.... but without saving and downloading anything my free space is now 70MB!! All I have been doing is watching streamed videos and I notice this reduces the drive space as I'm watching it!! Even opening firefox and some websites drops my memory by 0.1MB. I can't find anywhere where temporary files might be so i can delete them.
I never used to have this problem but I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that I now use wireless internet through a phone provider and a USB modem rather than my previous WiFi via cable broadband. Can anybody shed some light on what is stealing my memory when browsing?
I bought some video and audio from itunes and would like to put them to my portable player, but I am failure, whether they have protection or format require?---- how can I convert or transfer those files?

If i download a movie through itunes can i throw it onto a usb flash drive and then take it and play it on various other computers / xbox? or does it have DRM restrictions that force it to only play on the computer i download it onto?

View 1 Replies View RelatedRecently, iTunes has started to become completely unresponsive while it downloads things such as music, podcasts, etc. It doesn't freeze. the downloads still download, and then iTunes becomes responsive again once the downloads have finished. Not the end of the world, but I do subscribe to a lot of podcasts, so having iTunes constantly become unresponsive on me is a huge pain in the neck. Possibly relevant?: My iTunes library is on an external RAID array. But I don't think it's a problem with the array, since everything else I use it for seems to be working just fine. And I don't see why downloading data to the array should cause iTunes to lock up, in any case.

I noticed there was an issue with the last update (11.2.1) where podcasts were unexpectedly downloading. The new update (11.2.2) states that it "fixes a problem where certain podcast episodes may download unexpectedly after upgrading". However since installing the new update it has not seemed to have solved the problem. As soon as Itunes opened up again once the update was complete about 7 podcasts were downloading???

View 1 Replies View RelatedI was at work today and purchased an HD TV Show on my computer. The episode downloaded I watched it then I deleted it. The space is very limited on the work computers otherwise I would have kept it on there. I go home and tell iTunes to get my newest downloads, and it only downloads the Standard Definition version of the show I purchased.
View 1 Replies View Relatedwhen downloading a podcast from within iTunes, I don't get the cover art in iTunes (when viewing in Cover Flow, for example).
When I download on my iPad and iPhone, the cover comes up fine.
This is happening on both of my system, Mac Pro and MacBook Pro both early 2008.
