how to transfer documents from my mac to my iphone. I dont use apple's pages app but i have some pdf documents that I wanted to send to my iphone. The files are too big to just do through email, and im not sure how to use iCloud to help.

I want to keep my pages documents in the cloud to access and update them from different computers (i don't write on my iPhone or iPad). For some reason this doesn't seem intuitive, and I can't figure it out... Everything I read about this just talks about moving from a desktop to iOS devices, which I don't care about. I have Pages 09 on OSX10.7.4.

The loss of MobileMe Galleries is a HUGE loss to Apple's most loyal consumers and I would think a HUGE loss of revenue to Apple.
I certainly hope that the news of Photo Journals for IOS devices will also soon allow us to store, edit and save our photos not only on IOS devices, but also on our laptops, MacAirs and desktops.
Most of us that have been using iPhoto for the past 5 (ish) years, prefer to edit and store them on our laptops and desktops.

I am using Itunes Match but some of my library albums which show they are in the ICloud are not available on my Iphone. Itunes Match "matched" them okay (which I would expect as they include popular albums such as 'Oasis - Definitely Maybe') but when I go to my library via my Iphone they are not there (yet the rest of the Oasis albums are.)

I just purchased a new iPad and discovered that I needed to upgrade my Pages & Numbers to the '09 version to be compatible with the &pages & Numbers on the iPad. I did this and now when I attempt to save a document it asks if I want to save a Version but it doesn't give me an opportunity to save it to My iCloud Documents. My iMac shows several documents in the My iCloud Documents file butbmy iPad doesn't show these files. My iPad does see a couple of files from Numbers but when I try to open them I get a message sayingb that It can't open files that are not saved in Numbers '09 even though I thought they were converted to Numbers '09. I even created a new document in Numbers '09 but it doesn't show up in iCloud and I can't access it on my MacBook Pro or the iPad, obly on the iMac where it was created. My guess is the problem is somewhere in the coinversion to Pages & Numbers '09 from the '08 version but what is beyond me. Should I completely remove the old Apps for Pages & Numbers? I have all of the settings, as specified, on all three devices and, interestingly, my calendar and contacts have synced on the iPad and both computers.

I have tried duplicating the files and saving them to iCloud but they still don't appear. Any new documents that are saved into iCloud are saved properly, but this group of older files have been heavily enough formatted that copying and pasting would be a pain. I have saved all the old files under a similar tag. They all appear in Finder under the tag and the file path even shows them as located in iCloud, but that is the only way I can locate them.

I missed to backup my documents before upgrading my ipad 2 to ios 5.1, however I found them in icloud/#iwork but they can't be downloaded. there is no download icon but the word updating. also the download option is not active (when right click). I used MobileMe to store documents but in iCloud it doesn't seem that one can create folders in which to put documents; I can only upload documents to "Pages" tab and sort them by name. Also, the support seems to indicate I should be able to upload PDF but when I try it says that PDF is not supported.

I've got a number of Pages documents on iCloud, and all of a sudden, none of them can be opened from Pages (5.2.2) on my MacBook Pro. They all appear, but they either say "zero bytes" or there is just a gray line. If I select any document, the "Open" button remains gray. I CAN open all docs on my iPad, and I can also open them using the iCloud web interface. Meanwhlie, Calendar is syncing new events to all devices without problem, in all directions, so it can't be a problem with the account.

I have a 13" MacBook Air and a 27" iMac that I just did the combo update to 10.7.3. Since I have updated, I am missing the mobile documents folder. If I upload a pages document to icloud.com on my iMac and then go to icloud.com on my MacBook Air, it show's the file, however, it's the default pages icon, and it doesn't give me the opportunity to download it.
Because of this, I thought I'd look in the "Mobile Documents" folder and see if I can access it from there. However not that folder is missing. I have tried many different ways to get it to show up but I've been unable to.
I'm curious if Apple realized some people were using this folder as a "Dropbox" and disabled or further hid the folder so people can't sync files back and forth. More importantly, why doesn't icloud.com work for me as it used to?
Anyone know of any tricks to get the Mobile Documents folder to show up in 10.7.3?
On my iMac and MacBookPro I cannot save .pages documents to iCloud iWork. They appear on the iWork screen, but I cannot retrieve them.
However, from my iPad it is no problem!. After editing in iPad and save the documents to iCloud back it is possible to download these on my iMac or MacBookPro without problem.
