Jun 4, 2012If this is correct, how will I remotely sync my calendar? Or, will I have to sync it physically each time (phone to computer)?

how do I sync my calendar on my iphone to the one in my macbook pro?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've got an iPhone 4 and a MacBook Pro which I use for work. The help desk at work was able to set up my iPhone to receive both email and calendar appointments. On my MacBook I'm also able to get email, but for some reason I can't get the calendar function to work, using iCal. I work as a freelancer, so have a number of different calendars and not being able to sync this one makes things difficult. The help desk had a quick look at it, but said that as I'm freelance they're not required to spend any time on it (and they've got lots on their plate anyway),For me the oddity is that my iPhone has no problems, but the MacBook does (and gives me hope that there might be some small setting that I've overlooked that would fix this). So, here's what i've got. The bits in bold are the fields and the details that follow are the settings I've entered> For obvious reasons, I've removed any information that might be sensitive (e.g. usernames, password, company name).

I know their have been threads in the past that delt with syncing outook with OS X but I thought I would create a thread concerning iCal. Like many of you, I have to use a PC at work. I can access outlook on said PC either through webmail or Remote Desktop Connection but what I would really like is an automated way to sync my oulook calendar with iCal. I thought AddressX would work but it requires ananymous connectons to the exchange server which is apparently a no no from a security perspective. How have you sync'd outlook calendar with iCal?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI bought a Blackberry Pearl so that I could wirelessly sync my calendar (iCal) to it via bluetooth. However, unlike Outlook in Windows, I cannot do this. I have paired the phone, and can send files to my MBP from the Pearl, but cannot sync it.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI set up the syncing through CalDav but in iCal it creates a new calendar (which is the Google Calendar). Would I have to delete my original calendar called "Home" and just make the Google Calendar (in iCal) my main calendar? Does it do a good job of syncing both ways? Also, if I do this, does it also sync through MobileMe?
I've followed the tutorials online to sync my Google Calendar with my iCal.The problem however, is that, after doing so, only the calendars that are in Google Calendar are synced. What I mean is that lets say I create a calendar called Birthday in iCal. This would not appear in my Google Calendar! To fix this, I actually have to create the calendar in Google, then sync it!
I've been told it's possible to sync. an application on my iMac to my iPad.  I use the calendar specifically for the event reminders that I set up on the desktop Mac when I'm at home, but it would be good if I could access this information on my iPad when I'm away from home.Â

URL You can know sync iCal (Leopard) with Google Calendar without 3rd party software.Updated NotesiPhone/iPod Touch 2.0 currently does not support CalDAV.If you're having trouble authenticating your password, quick iCal and relaunch.
