ICloud :: Email Not Forwarding To Outside Domain
Apr 2, 2012My iCloud accounts are not forwarding. You can forward to an outside domain. Correct?

View 2 RepliesWhen iCloud first arrived, I guess I signed up for it using my regular e-mail address. This e-mail address is at my own personal domain. I've had MobileMe and just got rid of it, essentially transferring it over to iCloud. So I now have two iCloud accounts, one set up for my personal e-mail, one with my old MobileMe stuff including my Calendar, Contacts, and Me.com E-mail (which I do use sometimes). What to do? I don't want 2, as it will get so confusing. Any way to combine? Can I get rid of the iCloud account set up to my personal domain email? Also, what about my iTunes Store account, which is set up with personal domin email?Â

I have just bought a personal domain through godaddy - [URL]- to use with my almost complete mobileme site. With Safari everything seems to be fine - type in the domain with or without the 'www' and you arrive at the right place. But with every other browser I've tried (Chrome, Firefox, Flock and Camino) only [URL] version works. Enter the url without the www and you end up at [URL] could someone let me know what I've done wrong? I've tried clearing the cache in all the browsers but that's had no effect.

I am creating my website. I purchased a domain name from godaddy. Then I set up a MobileMe account to host using iWeb. But I am having trouble forwarding my domain name to my MobileMe account. Also from my MobileMe account the test connection failed when I try to publish it to my domain name.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have forwarded a domain to a non-MobileMe website in the past using my GoDaddy domain, but I'm having problems forwarding that same domain now to my new website I published on MobileMe via iWeb '09. My previous site I successfully was able to forward in the past was made on freewebs.com.On my MobileMe account I put the name of the domain I wanted transferred and clicked "done".On my GoDaddy account I put "web.me.com" under one of the CNAMES as instructed by Apple's website, but still isn't working.
View 5 Replies View RelatedMy personal domain is [URL]- it was bought through Easily [URL] and is still managed by them. I transferred the hosting to MobileMe, however, by creating the relevant CNAME entry, so in my DNS management area for this domain over at Easily the entries look as follows [URL] There are two name servers set up : [URL] The personal domain is set up in MobileMe fine, and I can create sites in iWeb and upload them with no issues. My second domain is [URL] which I bought through Easily, and which is simply set to use framed web forwarding to redirect to [URL] - that's one of the sites that I've created in iWeb and is hosted by MobileMe. When I visit [URL]I get no issues whatsoever - the masked forwarding works fine, so the address bar always reads [URL] no matter which page I'm on. However I've been told by a couple of people that they don't get transferred to it - instead they get not a MobileMe error page, but an Easily error page. it's as though the web forwarding works for some visitors but not for others, but I'm not sure why. Anyone got any thoughts? Is it happening for anyone else?

When I forward an email to my bookkeeper through mail, it always comes in as an attachment on her PC. She says this happens to another person as well who is using a Mac?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI'm having a strange and persistent issue with random forwarding from a user with multiple mail clients. An employee at my company has a Mac Mail client set up on his Mac Pro, Mac Book Pro and iPhone. Every few weeks several messages are forwarded to people that are in the email conversations. The forwards are from messages with consecutive times on the same date.

For some reason lately with my new email address I made with Gmail, a lot of emails have been sent back to me, "Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender"
Part of the message says, "I was unable to send this e-mail because the domain ( gmail.com ) has been black listed due to spam or forgery."
What the heck does this mean? I promise I'm not a spammer, for this is my personal email account.
Could it be possible that someone on the receiver's end has blocked my address or something?
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to correct this issue? It happens when I send mail from Apple Mail, my iPhone, and even through Gmail.
Until now, I've used Gmail to collect and respond to mail from my website. How can I set up Apple to do this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI was trying to email someone from a certain company/vendor, but I didn't remember the reps name.Â
I knew that their business name was in their domain name though, so I tried typing that into the To: field.Â
To my surprise, Mail didn't find anything.Â
Is there a way to turn this feature on, or else can I submit it as a feature request?Â
I realize that it's possible to use the search box to search for past emails containing a domain name, but this clearly is not my intention, I wanted to compose an email ...

If I am viewing my webmail thru Mail and not using my Mac Mail acct, do I still need to move to iCloud?

I am using Mac OS 10.4.11 and I do not plan to upgrade my OS software at this time. I am not using any wireless devices such as iPhone, iPad, or iPod. The only "wireless device" I use is my PowerMac G4 using Airport and whatever wireless signal from a modem is handy for internet connection. I am using Apple's Mail application and wish to continue using it just as it is with my existing email addresses. I currently have a MobileMe account which I'm not worried about losing when it's phased out as long as my Mail application and email continues to function. My question is do, I have to sign up with, or make the move to, iCloud in order for my Mail application and my email to continue working in the near future? I do not mind losing MobileMe and I do not mind not having iCloud if my email will work without it. I do not wish to purchase iCloud service and I hope I do not have to pay to keep my email working. I do have iDisk at the moment but I prefer to let it go rather than to continue to pay for a remote upload/download storage service, although I wouldn't mind keeping it if I don't have to pay for it.Â
