My email server keeps asking for a password, and doesn't accept the one I give it. I can't receive and emails but I can if I go to the cloud.How did my settings get messed up & how can I make this normal again?

I have tried to migrate hardrive content from the emac to our imac with no luck. We still need to get eveything off the emac. What is the best way to do this? Take the hard drive out and then what?

Gmail is my default email client. I'm trying to send an email blast to my groups in address book. When I right click on a group, and click "send to...", none of the email address show up in the TO field, only the name of the Group appears.Previously, I used mac mail and clicking "send to" group would result in all email addresses going right where they're supposed to go.I don't know how I changed the client to Gmail, but if I can't get it to work, I'd like to switch it back.

I'm trying to detect a pattern. I suspect that every time our family buys a new apple product we are hit with advertisements. I recently bought a new iPod Touch. Can I download the installer to a flash drive and then install it on my eMac? I currently have 5,480 photos in one library. This is what I hope to accomplish with the upgrade to a better iPhoto:
1) option to include comments (metadata) alongside the photos in the message text when e-mailing photos to somebody?
2) let you print a contact sheet and include the photo comments underneath each photo?
3) burn photos to disc from within iPhoto, that will preserve the comments along with the photos? Later, you can insert the disc and it will show up in iPhoto with the photos and comments intact?
4) backup to iBook with comments/metadata included?
Im purchasing an eMac in a couple days, but am a little confused about performance. Its a 1 GHZ PowerPC G4 with 256MB of Ram but my last pc blew up (literaly) However the 1GB of RAM that was in still works and will fit in it.
Besides that my Questions pertain to Leopard and Time Machine. I Know that Leopard will run on this Mac, But what about performance? and I heard that the eMacs cant experience the i candy Time Machine offers.
How So? is it true? I really want the Ability to use Time Machine. (Right now i'm just using Genie Timeline for my Windows 7 PC)
My hard drive says it's capacity is 57.26 GB. It says 52.14 GB is being used, leaving me with only 5.12 GB free. I don't have any music, and all the applications only tally up to like 1.7GB, so what is using up all the rest of my hard drive space?

I finally got comcast to get me to atleast be able to read my email but I can't reply to any emails. My operation system is a Mac OS X 10.3. My apple system correlates to M8951LL/A specs. I think that comcast only supports OS X 10.4 and higher, mine is a 10.3. Does anyone know if I can upgrade to a 10.4 with a computer this old?
I tried to download Lion and Tiger but both of those require 10.4 minimum. Bottom line does anyone know first if it is possible to upgrade to a 10.4 with my emac and if so how?

Sometimes test messages sent by me to me go into the Important mailbox but not into the Inbox.Messages that have failed send end up copied several times in a folder called Bin.

I cannot send mail. This has been an occasional problem. I'd send and a pop-up would offer me choice: Cancel, ~Trash, or Save as Draft. I'd save and successfully send as a draft. The last few days I've had to the saved draft and send in Eudora. Today I spent some time on this. At first it looked all right in Mail/Preferences/Accounts, smtp.west.cox.net.user name--then it persistently included (Offline), but Mail menu bar/ Window showed Take All Accounts Online dimmed and Take All Accounts Offline as the active option. At this time I could receive but not send mail. I have edited the smtp server list a number of times. No show of offline there. When I'm done (Offline) again pops up on theOutgoing Mail Server (SMTP). I deleted the account and recreated it and could not send. The (Offline) did not appear after the smtp.cox.net.user name. Early 2006 iMac, OS 10.6.8 The settings are OK, the same as in Eudora.
