I'm created a key-pair for use with our developer account and I need to transfer the keys (both public and private) to other development machines. The problem is that although the export of both keys appears to go fine, importing the key back into keychain access fails with a dialong saying "An error has occurred. Unable to import an item." This occurs for both the public and private key exported key files. Also, it happens with other public keys on my keychain and it happens with other users also running 10.7.3.Â

Since upgrading to Snow Leopard, I can no longer import P2 footage. I get the stop sign and error: no data.In the import window I can play the clip and everything is fine, but when I add to the clip to the import queue it just times out.
Any thoughts? Is it somehow related to Quicktime being updated by Snow Leopard?

I recently purchased an MP3 album from Amazon, which downloaded fine. Unlike previous times, however, the Amazon Downloader app didn't load the music into my iTunes library. I tried to manually add the album to my iTunes Library, with no luck. I was able to load the album into my iPhone Music app by dragging and dropping on my iPhone device in iTunes (after turning off iTunes Match).. If I double-click on the songs on my hard drive, they will play in iTunes, but do not import.Â
I am running Mac OS 10.7.3, iTunes 10.6.1 (7) and have iTunes Match active on my computer.

I have iTunes on my PC. It's what I synced my iPhone with. All of My music is on an external HD. I do not want to duplicate files and put them on my Mac's HD.
I got a new Macbook Pro, and imported my songs successfully, but now I don't have the same playlists as on my PC.
When I go to sync my phone it tells me that it's going to delete all music on my phone and replace it with the new library/playlists.

So, I've seen tons of threads about iMovie only working with certain video file extensions and not others. Trouble is, my iMovie doesn't work with any file, ever. The files show up as "importable" when I go to import them, but then they simply don't import. When I try clicking and dragging them like the program says to, they "bounce back" to where they were. When I click on "last import" it shows up empty. When I click on "import" it acts as if it's going to work, and an icon reading "new event" shows up, but when I highlight (or click, or double click, or right-click, or anything) that icon, the message reads, "No matching video. Chose a different option from the Show pop-up menu" etc.
I've been trying for months! I love to make videos and with Vegas on Windows I never had any trouble. Files that iMovie won't import: AVI, MP4, MP3, MPG, MKV, WMV, SFK, and no song files, either. My Mac is an iMac OS X version 10.5.8I called the local Apple store and the lady there told me that I shouldn't be trying to use any videos other than ones I'd shot from my own camera anyway. :/

I often borrow audiobook CDs from the library and have no trouble importing them to iTunes. But many of them come as mp3 CDs, which has been causing me lots of headaches. First of all, iTunes doesn't recognize those kinds of CDs. I used to be able to get around this by simply using the File > Add to Library feature. But with iTunes 10.6, this no longer seems to work and I haven't found a simple way to upload the tracks to iTunes. When I Google this problem, I find lots of answers to copying mp3 tracks from iTunes onto CDs, but I want to do the opposite.

I have a homemade DVD someone sent me to prep for the web. Right now I just have iMovie available on my system (not enough room for FCP). The DVD automatically plays in DVD Player but when I try to import it into iMovie I see a progress menu/bar that drops down, disappears, then I have nothing and the timeline is empty and the clip I dragged/dropped it on is empty (well white from selecting it first).
It plays in DVD Player but NOT in QuickTime. QT throws up the error "Error Opening Movie. Movie could not be opened."

Just found this and it works really well even on snow leopard. And best of all it's free. [URL:....] I just donwloaded some free patterns to try it out here. [URL:...] Import zip file and activate. Takes 2 seconds. Now if I can only have my old rainbow back that would be nice. I guess that will be the next test to make my own and see if it works. If I extract a pattern and right click and say compress. It also imports. So it works just as the original. So it shouldn't be too hard to make my own designs and rezip them. I just don't remember what info.plist does or how to edit that if I use my own design.

I have been trying to edit some footage and was trying to import a non commercial dvd to i movie. I have researched the web and tried to follow these instructions but doesn't work. I have an macbook pro 13'' 09
1. Insert DVD.
2. Open Disk Utility.
3. Select the disk and then select "New Image". Save the disk image wherever is convenient, such as the desktop.
4. Once the disk image is written, open iMovie.
5. Mount the new disk image. A "Camera Detected, Scanning Contents" window will appear in iMovie, followed by an import window. You can now import the DVD contents and start editing away.

I have a some MP4 video files I got from a DVD which are "home" made. So no commercial DVD or anything like that.I used Adobe Premiere Pro to convert them in a Quicktime playable format and thought I could now import it to iTunes and sync it on my iPhone or iPad.On a Windows machine I was able to import the movie file but if I let iTunes convert it to the iPhone compatible format it fails. I get a new movie file with the sound but the movie shows only a white screen. On my Mac ( where I actually need it) I wasn't even able to import it into iTunes.
I konw there are many posts around about this matter but none so far could give me a hint to resolve that issue.Does anybody know the exact settings of an mp4 such that I can use it in iTunes on a Mac? I should be able to export it in any format with Adobe Premier Pro but sofar none of the files worked. Even *.mov files wont import into iTunes on my Mac.
