I was using safari completly fine, even after it updating to 5.1.5 it still worked fine then a few days ago it wouldn't open and the following error message appeared:Â Â
Process: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Safari [316]
Path: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â /Applications/Safari.app/Contents/MacOS/Safari
Identifier: Â Â Â Â Â com.apple.Safari
Version: Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 5.1.5 (7534.55.3)
Build Info: Â Â Â Â Â WebBrowser-7534055003000000~1
It worked fine for a couple of hours, now it won't even load anymore. Can't delete the application from my hard drive because it says I don't have permission. Fixed the permissions but it still won't delete. Tried downloading it and re-installing and it still doesn't work.
I formatted a G4 powerbook for an intern at the company with Tiger installed, with all the latest updates. But somehow, our company website won't load in Safari or Firefox. There is internet connection, all other websites on that laptop I've tried works. We have 15 other PCs / OSX and our website works on all of them, except for the powerbook.
I have had one problem ever since I downloaded Safari 5. Sometimes when attempting to load pages, it just doesn't work. It's like that my internet gets turned off when I am trying to load a page. Any one know if this is a known problem, or if it is just a coincidence that my internet became "glitchy" when I downloaded Safari 5?
Usually Safari opens all previous windows upon startup, but not always. Today was one of those days. I last used DataBackup yesterday, but I'm not sure how to access the proper file to restore the missing window. I'm using v5.1.5

All of a sudden, one particular site that I use daily will not load on my MacBook Pro. When I go to my iPhone, the site immediately loads when I am on 4G. As soon as I turn my WiFi on, it also will not load on my phone.Â
I have not knowingly installed anything new as of late on my MacBook Pro. Cache's have been reset numerous times, router has been reset.
I have a problem with safari. Safari quits unexpectly and appear this message : the application safari quit unexpectedly. the problem may have been caused by the flash player-10.4-10.5 plug-in. When i am trying to open again appear this message(SIMBL error. failed to load the safarisniffer plugin. error(1000) creating CGSWindow) and the safari's screen is white Safari's Version 5.0.6 I have the Leopard and 10.5.8 versionProcessor Name:Intel Core 2 DuoProcessor Speed:2.4 GHzMemory:4 GB
For the last month I have not being able to load NinjaVideo.net from either Firefox 3 or Safari. It used to work perfectly from my Macbook, but out of the blue it stopped loading.I tried updating flash player and still it does not open. I also tried deleting all cookies, and cache. This is the error message it appears on firefox:Network TimeoutThe server at NinjaVideo.net is taking too long to respond.

basically im using the Safari 4 Beta, and half the time when im on Facebook or another site where lots of pictures have load quickly (flickr etc) instead of loading, half the pictures just show a blue square with a white question mark inside where they should be, and after refreshing the page about 50 times sometimes they show, sometimes they dont.
Does anyone else have this issue? Its happening with flash based images as well, which leads me to believe its a blanket issue with Safari. I've tried all the ususal stuff even reinstalling OS X. Its quite annoying because i code in AJAX a lot and i'd like to test my work without getting blue squares where photos should be
I'm currently using a MacBook Pro, and Safari runs perfectly except videos on sites such as Youtube won't load (black square, where video should load or just blank area) music also doesn't stream on sites such as Hype Machine.
I've reset Safari and emptied the cache. Can download files fine, pictures load fine, everything works perfectly except for the video and music streaming.
Starting yesterday Safari just won't load any webpages at all. It will start, the window opens and after that nothing happens. No matter what url I use.
I do have a stable internet connection. Firefox and Chrome both work fine but I do want to use Safari.
I bought a brand new laptop from HP in September and within a week of getting, adding nothing more than a few starwars games, I installed Safari 5.x (I'm not sure the exact version). I opened it up and no webpages would load. I can access settings, open new tabs, the works. I simply cannot browse to any website at all. I can type in a web address and the loading bar starts, but then hangs all day at like 10%.
All other web browsers I've used work fine. So I uninstalled it. Again today I downloaded and installed safari 5.1.2. Same thing. I'm wondering what the problem is and have tried the netsh winsock reset trick and reinstalling etc. Nothing has solved it. I downloaded 4.0.5 while typing this and that does not seem to be working either. iTunes works fine. I have no proxy settings. My firewall is turned off. Could there be some other program that conflicts with Safari and only Safari?

A bunch of different sites are requiring the latest Flash Player. I download, it installs tells me to reopen browser, still the same notice sayig I need Falsh installed to see the site. I dunno. I have never had this happen before.
I'm learning HTML and tried the first example given in the course but it won't load in safari. Any ideas why? I've written it in TextEdit and tried saving in .HTML and plain text with no joy.
I just bought my first macpro...i set it up in the office and everything seemed to work. When i got hom eben though the notebook is picking up a strong Internet signal safari cannot load any webpage?
I had a number of extensions - now they are gone (in that they don't load and are not listed in the preferences list of extensions, though they are still in the library). Downloading and then reinstalling is not working - safari reports that they can't be installed.
I have a eGo ITB 800 Firewire drive which has been running fine with Time Machine on my Leopard OSX 10.5 IMac. I just got a new IMac running Lion OSX 10.7.3 and want to migrate my files to the new machine. The new Lion IMac will not mount the drive. I updated the system software today, so it has the latest patches.
1. It appears under Devices in the Finder but Migration Assistant does not "see" it at all. Time Machine DOES recognize it as an Iomega HDD, though I have Time Machine turned off because I don't want to make a back up of the new machine until I transfer the files from the old one.
2. When I connect with Firewire 800, System Information will see a drive there, but it says "unknown device".
3, When I connect with USB, System Information will see the Iomega HDD there and report on it's specs. Â
4. I power cycled the drive to see if that would help and I got the warning that I should unmount drives first.Â
5. In the finder, I can see my old files on the Iomega.Â
6. I can't find any information on this one the Iomega web site, and they say that no software upgrades or drivers are necessary.
All of this implies to me that the disk is ok and the connections are ok. Does anyone know how can I get this drive mounted and working so I can transfer my files?
I recently updated safari to 7.0.6 and I am also on the newest maverick software but, when I try to go to any web page I get a blank white page that goes nowhere. It's not the internet because everything else works but safari.
My macbook is just over three months old, the other day my wireless internet connection cut out on it, but soon came back. Since then Safari is moving very slowly, every other page fails to load or will take up to a minute. To login to a page such as email or facebook is nearly impossible. When i have a page that will not load, the blue status in the url box usually doesnt go past the // in the http://, and it almost never fully reaches the end of the box Ive tried resetting safari and emptying the cache and it didnt help. I also contacted Comcast to see if it was a connection issue, but they found no problems.
I have a question about Safari plugins. I was running under Tiger and got the SplashID desktop program with Safari plugin. I decided to upgrade my OS to Leopard so I can use a newly purchased Magic Mouse. Launched Safari and the SplashID plugin would not load. I replaced Safari, its preferences and other files and the plugin will not load. It worked fine in Tiger. I happened to have another internal drive loaded with Leopard from a while back and it's fully updated. I booted from it and installed SplashID and the plugin. Works perfectly! So, why will the Safari plugin not load on my primary drive that was upgraded from Tiger to Leopard versus the same Leopard on my other drive that was a clean install?
Some YouTube videos just wont load. The counter of the video counts up to 00:04 and then resets to 00:00 again and again, while the loading wheel in the video box just spins. Firefox plus others - works fine.Â
It just started today. I tried opening a site inside 4shared.com and it won't open. It worked yesterday but it doesn't work today. It gives me a blank page and kept on tittering the entire time. I already updated my Mac's software. Nothings change.
Okay I don't know what the deal is, but lately Safari has been having issues connecting to websites. Randomly happens on basically every website out there. Could be in a forum, press next to go to the next page and the balcnk page pops up unable to connect. It's Safari that's doing it, everything else is fine. I don't know what was pushed by Apple lately, but whatever it was, it broke Safari. It's getting annoying to say the least. The fact that it just randomly decides that it cannot load a page is so aggrivating. You'd think it would be able to load a page from cache that it just was at, nooo, it claims it cannot connect to the site and you have to reset Safari, exit, and HOPE, that it will actually let you visit a site that you frequent often... like even Apple's own website. There is something seriously wrong with it at the moment and it's getting to the point now where I will probably just stop using Safari altogether. It's just that annoying. How would you like to call your Mother and have the phone tell you no such number exists? Funny, I've called it a thousand times, but the phone is now telling me it doesn't exist. Then poof, it decides it does exist. Then it doesn't. Then it does.Â
