I think since I updated my mac OS X lion 10.7.2 to 10.7.3. I cannot open YouTube no matter the browser I use it's always the same, so I checked my flash player version and I have the latest one so I don't think the flash player is the problem, I don't know what to do.

I just purchased an iMac OS X version 10.7.3. My kids keep trying to play games but are prompted that they need to download Adobe Flash player. I follow the prompts for the latest version, but no luck. It says it's successfully installed. When I go to system preferences and click on the flash player, it says "plug in version 11.2.202.228 is installed" but when I click the "check now" box and it tells me to the Adobe websitem, under version information it says I have 9.0.124.0 installed? I have uninstalled and reinstalled countless times to no avail.

Yesterday, a web site that I use frequently suggested that I upgrade my Flash Player and gave me a link to do so. Ever since I downloaded and installed the new version, any time the Flash starts to load, the browser crashes.
I downloaded the Uninstall for Flash, unintalled it, restarted from my Install Disc and repaired the permissions as suggested. Then I restarted, installed the new version of Flash Player (with all browsers off!) but as soon as I accessed a web site and needed to use Flash, the browser crashed (both Safari and Firefox). Is there a solution or am I just out of luck now?

For some reason, when I go to listen to a band's music on MySpace, the player will load and play the music, but it won't show the song titles, and the little visualizer thing on the player all moves as one big blue block, rather than looking like a waveform. View 1 Replies View RelatedFor some reason that I can�t explain I am unable to watch any youTube videos on my iMac. I have "click to Flash" installed and can watch flash content on all other sites. When I login to my account at youTube I also need to click to flash but then I get instead of the video, a "go Upgrade". I took this to mean that the flash player needed upgrading so I agreed to download the latest Flash Player and installed it. This has made no difference. I even went so far as to create a new YouTube account with a different e-mail address but nothing helps. Can anyone please give me some advice what I can do or try to get to watch the YouTube videos?
This problem is only when I use Safari. Using Firefox I can watch youTube.
I have noticed in the past few times I have had a tap or two opened with something flash on them (youtube, vuze, etc..) and both safari and firefox crashing.

At first I thought it was Chrome so I reinstalled Chrome, tried disabling the chrome native flash plugin in about:plugins (then the other one) but no joy, then I realised it was happening on Safari too. Â
So I downloaded the Flash uninstaller for mac and uninstalled > reinstalled and still no joy.Â

I have been trying to download adobe flash player so I can use youtube. I install it, open it in my downloads, Click install adobe Flash player, and then click open when it asks me if I want to open application downloaded from the internet. After I click open I put in my password, click next, then as adobe trys to download it will get to 50% the stop and say Safari needs to be closed to continue. However safari and everything is already closed. I am able to download Adobe Flash Player.

i had adobe flash player 10.xx beta 3 on my old hard drive and it was working good. 15-20% of each core while playing videos.
now i cant seem to find the beta 3. which flash player is the best and is the least cpu hog.
I'm having trouble view YouTube videos. When I try to view a video, it tells me my flash player isn't up to date. But when I download the latest player from the link they provide(which it tells me is successful), I still can't view the video.
Anybody have any ideas what I might be doing wrong?

I just "upgraded" yesterday from a Power Mac G4 to a 17" MacPro. Among other adjustment problems, I can't open PDF files. The message I get is "You can't open the application Adobe Reader because it is not supported on this kind of Mac."
I've tried downloading the latest version of Adoobe Reader, an although it seems to download, I can't find it.

Recently bought a G4, running OS 10.2.8 as a 2nd puter. Firstly, when I access my hotmail account I can log-in and see the e-mails but can't open them. I also get no response to delete and other options. I suspect this is because I'm running a very old version of safari. Secondly, I want to download Flash player. When I go to the download site I can't see or activate the 'download' button.
