I am trying to get my iWeb page on a non .mac account using FTP. Here is the link genesysapps.tk . As you can see, all the links are dead and no images showed up. I published my page as a folder and then sent it via FTP. Why is it doing this?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI wrote an email to the tech people on my domain service provider, Network Solutions, because I've yet to see my website load properly. I was directed to use web forwarding, and I set that up over the weekend. However, though I am hosted through MobileMe, my personal domain link takes me to a blank page. There had been an under construction page. if I am using web forwarding, should I remove the personal domain from my Mobile Me preferences? Could that be the reason it won't work?

My Safari homepage is blank. Bookmarks and toolbar are there but my Earthlink page and address bar are blank. The Safari version is 3.1.2 and the OSX is 10.4.11 My Internet Explorer (which I rarely use) and Firefox are working fine.

When I load the page with text edit, I get some crazy Apple page, so I don't seem to be able to edit the HTML directly. Honestly, I hope to find solutions to problems like these so that I can avoid HTML in the future.

when i print more the 2 pages after each page the printer take out 2 blank page and than stops (i have to press its bottom to make it pull the next paper)
if i don't press the bottom or sometime in a middle of the printing page i get an error "the process usb stopped unexpectedly with status 81"
after a while the printer stops and i have to make it start again

Everything seems to be done right.. Any clue what's wrong?
In Safari, I am no longer able to print web .pdf documents. The print screen pops up, however the preview document shows a blank page. I am able to print in Firefox, so this has to be a Safari problem. I have checked my Internet Plug In files and there is no Adobe plug in as suggested by others in similar questions. Turning on/off the computer has not helped either. Nor has Open PDF in Preview. I'm using an iMac with Lion and an HP Photosmart C4700 printer.

I just got this iBook 12" in the mail been to a mac shop before I bought it where the owner was told the screen had died. Motherboard was said to be Ok by the repairer. I replaced the screen with a know working one and the screen was dead. Then after the fiddle of pulling it apart again wondered if I could use the hard drive on another ibook. The hard drive I put in another iBook which loaded up fine with display. Later I tried again but it was a dead screen? Is it that both ibooks have faulty motherboards? Motherboard determines a display? Or could it be the display module? What else could cause dead screen? Cables good.

Can you put movies on blank pages or do you have to use the movies pages templates provided by iweb to play movies?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI purchased a used ibook from owc in January and have had it back to them twice for repairs. Lately, it stopped booting up again and they told me to use [URL] to take the mobo out and ship it to Arizona to have the solder refloated. I did and got it back, put it together and it would boot up, only to run for 15 minutes and shut down. Thinking I missed something, I dissasembled it today and reassembled it. Now it turns on with a blank screen, the fan runs on high, and it will go no further. I tried to reset the power manager, reset the p-ram, the hard drive is only a few months old and my brain is getting fried with frustration.

i am working on my website, and notice a few "stars" on the screen. I thought maybe it was my desktop image, as it is the standard leopard galaxy deal. I verified it was my screen. Will Apple even do anything about this, or will they say it is just cosmetic? I took in my MBP (i bought it 10/08, it is the version before the UMBP) to the genius before because the screen has some lines in it, but they said it caused by the keyboard hitting the screen and they wont fix it because it is cosmetic. I think they should fix it, but at this point, it isn't the biggest deal, but now that i spotted it, i can see it everytime i am on a dark screen/page

I have tried using HTML but does not work. I'm new at iWeb. I have 6 navigational pages. 2 of the 6 pages will have sub pages with those sub pages also having sub pages. How do I link each sub page without creating more navigational pages on the homepage? I don't want 12 navigational pages on homepage.

I have only been "MAC" for five years now...from a PC of course. I LOVE IWEB, but noted this morning on one of my sites I have up ONLY on one page one of the navigation links is not working. I went back into Mac and took the page and marked it NOT to be linked saved and went back and reinstated it in the link navigation bar, resaved it, republished it, ftp'd it up and cleared recent history... and still no luck.
artistsoftexas.org on the ARTIST page, I cannot get the link to actively work to Galleries/workshops. Works on all other pages.
I am trying to move material created in earlier iWeb (08?) to an FTP server. It is now saved as a web archive. I also have been on mobileme. I am on snow leopard and am not quite ready for lion. I can't seem to find an iweb page in the web archive. To follow the instructions from my new web host I need to have the iweb page that lsts the site name. How can I find this from the web archive? Otherwise I seem to find the content of my iweb-created blog when I open the web archive (in Safari).

View 2 Replies View RelatedI don't want just anyone to have immediate access to my gallery via my iWeb site. Ideally I'd like my entire Mobile Me gallery to be password protected. I had a look at password protecting individual albums but that's just a horrible implementation, each album just comes up as a grey thumbnail in the albums view even if you enter login details. I thought an alternative (although far less secure) would be to have the link to the mobile me gallery on a password protected iWeb page as part of my iWeb site but I can't find any options to let me password protect just one page.
Am I right in assuming that Web Gallery only supports password protecting of individual items whereas Apple have gone the opposite route with iWeb where you can only password protect your entire site? If that's the case then it seems like they're really trying to make things hard for us!
I got three e-mails that didn't load right or something. When I try to load them they are just blank. They come back every time I open up mail and I can't get rid of them. Besides deleting them (which makes them just not be bold) I have tried moving them to different folders and marking them as junk and nothing will get them out of my inbox. Two of the e mails are from one of my mail accounts and the other one is from a separate account.
