OS X Yosemite :: Reminders App Does Not Work With Two ICloud Accounts

Dec 2, 2014

The Reminders App does not work on Yosemite (10.10.1) with two iCloud accounts. It seems like when there are two iCloud accounts connected in Yosemite (10.10.1) the plist file for Reminders disappears.

I have tried restarting Reminders; restarting the mac; starting the mac in recovery mode to repair the disk and disk permissions; and starting the mac in recovery mode and reinstalling OSX.

ICloud :: Two Accounts For Work And Home?

May 13, 2012

On my iPad2, I have a home email account and a work email account and work calendar. If I set up a second (work) user account on the family iMac, can I have two iCloud accounts to keep work and home separate? I would like to share  pictures, home emails, etc with my wife's iPad and iPhone, but not share the work email and work calendar. Will I be able to have both iCloud accounts share with my iPhone 4s and iPad? For now, I am using a google calendar for work on the iPad2 and sync it to Google.

MacBook :: Time Machine Reminders Missing In Yosemite 10.10.1?

With previous versions, a reminder popped up if you have not run Time Machine in 10 days.  That seems to me missing once I upgraded to Yosemite.  Is there a preference adjustment I missed?

I am using Yosemite 10.10.1 which I believe is the current version on my MaBook Pro

ICloud On Mac :: Reminders App Is Not Syncing

Jun 24, 2014

My reminders app is not syncing across all of my devices. For example when I complete a reminder "Grocery Shopping". I mark it completed on my iPhone however it does not show completed on my Mac nor completed on my iPad Mini. I am signed in to iCloud on all of my devices with the same user name and password.

ICloud :: Reminders Not Syncing On My MacBook Air

Apr 21, 2012

Have just moved from MobileMe to iCloud. iCal is syncing properly across iMac and iPhone, but not Air. Similar problems with Address Book. Express Lane "help" was unhelpful - suggested I phone Apple Care. The warranty on my Air is probably long up. Asked if they would help anyway as I've just upgraded to Lion.

ICloud On Mac :: Export / Download Reminders?

Jun 30, 2014

I've been experimenting with the reminders app on my iPhone. I love the way it works with iCloud. It's nice to be able to access reminders from my MacBook.

I'd like to export or download my info. Ideally, I'd copy/paste into a word document. However, I'm only able to highlight and copy 1 entry at a time.

I could take screen shot, and type them out, but I have about 25 lists with 10-30 entries per list. I'd like to find an easier way :-)

ICloud On Mac :: Turn On Reminders Without Turning On Calendars

Dec 11, 2014

Since Reminders was released, I have had them synced fine between my phone and computer. However, in the past week this is no longer happening. I'd like to turn on my reminders on both my iPhone and MacBook without turning on my iCloud calendar sync. However, it seems that on the iPhone end of things, I can choose to turn on just reminders, while on my computer they are lumped together in the same checkbox (see images.)

I would be okay with syncing them via my gmail, but again there is a discrepancy in the options I have. On my phone, no reminders option exists, but on my accounts tab on my laptop, there it is: reminder sync with gmail! I have also posted images of this. I found out that if you turn on calendars AND reminders on both ends, then the reminders work. Which is not what I want.

So my question: how can I sync reminders with my computer from my phone, without having to sync my iCloud calendar? Note that i use google calendar exclusively, for work/personal use. I have NEVER used iCloud calendar, never had it synced, and my reminders have worked fine until now.

UPDATE: before, i could get reminders to work by turning reminders+calendars on and off on both devices in iCloud. now it doesn't work at all, no matter what!

OS X Yosemite :: Internet Accounts And New Top Level Domains (TLDs)

Dec 2, 2014

I am using Yosemite (10.10.1) and have been trying to create an Internet Account (Exchange) in the System Preferences application (version 14.0).  My account username contains one of the new TLDs that doesn't end in the standard .com, .net, etc.  My account uses .clothing.  When I select Exchange as the account type and enter my correct information, System Preferences says 'Please fill out the "Email address" field correctly.  This information is required to set up a server account.' It looks like I can create an IMAP account manually, but I'd like a full-fledged Exchange account.

OS X Yosemite :: Apple Mail And Email Accounts Do Not Open?

Dec 7, 2014

I have recently found the problem that I open the Apple Mail app and nothing is functional. When I try to edit account settings it doesn't let me access those. I want to reinstall mail app or at least update its settings. I read in some blog that yosemite "guesses" and changes your prefered account settings so I wonder if that is the cause after I backed up my emails recently I had loads of messages asking for my passwords, which never happened in Mavericks.

ICloud :: What Happens To Mail Only Accounts

Apr 16, 2012

I bought 3 email only accounts along with the family pack in mobile me (when it was dot mac) long time ago I paid for these for several years, then mobile me came in with Aliases, but my mail only accounts were tied over as legacies, and I continued paying for them in mobile me. They are 3 ----------@mac.com addresses, and are important to keep. What will happen in iCloud? am I going to loose these addresses - which would have a major impact on my "digital lifestyle" I really need to know how to keep them not figure out how to live without them! Then also I have two email addreses/accounts as part of mobile me family pack, wife has two also, Son has one. Does each of these accounts need migrating over to iCloud? What if two of these are the same person on the same Mac(s)
