Error: Cannot open document created in Microsoft Excel for the Macintosh version 1.x Solution Found: [URL]
Problem: I don't have my old Excel (or at least I can't find it). I do still have my old copies of Office 95 for PC but that doesn't seem to open it either. Probably because back in the day, it wasn't directly compatible. What I need is to be able to open this file in something and get it converted to OpenOffice, Office X or Office 2003.
I created an 11X17 poster in iWorks8. When I exported it into a pdf file to take to get it printed, it did not export properly. When I try to open it up on my computer it opens fine. When I transfer it to another computer it only transports some of the graphics and text. The Adobe reader on the PC says there is an error and ask the creator to fix it. Only the Mac does not identify a problem when creating the pdf file.
I have created a flyer in mac pages and need to get it to a printer to do a mass gloss printing. Should I and can I burn the document to CD or DVD to give to the printer?
The Staples store was unable to print my document flyer that I created in mac "Pages" that I saved on my flash drive. They said they couldn't convert it from mac and to go back and "save as" "publisher file." However, when I click file, save as does not come up as an option. How can I get my flyer printed?
I have a pages document that I need converted to .doc the problem is that I was on the iWork trial and don't plan to buy iWork. I need a way to convert it without iWork.
I would post it for someone to convert it for me but .pages won't upload here.
How do I save a Pages document in a fold on my computer with NO "save as" option. Also Duplicate doesn't work the way your Apple manual says. It duplicates but keeps the same name only puts copy behind it with no way of changing the name it seems. How would i do that too?
I thought that I was being smart by creating my son's graduation invite.I made it in pages and I need to save it to be a jpeg in order to print it. Does anyone know how to save a pages doc as a jpeg?
Is there a way to insert a selected template after, for instance, the cover page of a document, or anywhere else for that matter? If not, can I merge the template with an already created document?

Its just opens in text and spaces... Ive also notice that in quick look I can see the original document in full but does not open in the way it was showed..?
If anyone can tell me how to open a Pages document that arrived as attachment in Mail? A fellow Mac user sent it. I don't have or plan to buy iWorks. I couldn't open it with the Appleworks that I have with OS X 4.9. Nor would Textedit and apps like that help.
I was recently working on a document on pages, and I had a kernel panic. After a restart, I started up Pages to continue working on the document, and it was gone! Does Pages have some kind of document recovery after a crash?
I've searched under 'spelling' and 'language' in the Help section of Pages, but I can't find anything that says how to spell check a piece of writing written in another language.
Is there any better way of exporting a Pages document to HTML, other than exporting to RTF then exporting again to HTML? This approach works, but it produces odd-looking output that needs some manual editing.
I'm reacquainting myself with my new MBP. Is there a way to view a webpage, document, spreadsheet full screen, ie, spreading out across the entire screen? Right now I see about 1" of the desktop on either side of this webpage,
I've been working hard on this document in Pages which had 3 tables in. I have been saving it as I have gone on and just now I have scrolled up to realise one of the tables is missing.
My computer completely crashed...the entire thing. Everything stopped and a grey screen rolled down, telling me to restart my computer in several languages. There was a Pages document open that I hadn't yet saved. There's nothing Pages-related in the Recovered files folder...is there any way that I can get my document back?
