ICloud On Mac :: Photo Streams Don't Appear In IPhoto On MacBook
Jun 29, 2014I am having an issue with iPhoto on my MacBook. I used to have lots of photo streams as well as the standard auto upload photo stream, but recently I accidentally turned off photos for iCloud in system preferences. I immediately turned it back on but it was too late, the photo streams where gone! All that appeared when I turned it back on was the standard auto upload photo stream. The other photo streams did not load back in to iPhoto. Besides losing lots of photos (This might not be an issue as I just put them on to another computer) the main annoyance is that the photo streams I created and the ones I had subscribed to had disappeared from iPhoto. The weird thing is that these photo streams still appear on my iPhone!! Is there anything I can do to get the other photo streams back on to iPhoto?

Nov 18, 2007I need to change the date on some of my photos in iPhoto. Some of them are from a disc of old (non-digital camera) photos and are all dated 1/1/99. I'd like to put them in some sort of date order. Also my girlfriend set the date on her new camera/phone to be 2008 so I'd like to change those too. I've got iPhoto 6 if that helps.

Aug 21, 2010I'm making a book of my holiday, its going great until I came to the map. The pointer always starts in Sydney, a hassle but I can work with it. My problem is as we went to Seymour in Victoria Australia, I type in Seymour and I'm given a dozen USA possibilities but I'm offered a search for my Seymour option. I take this, starting in Sydney and I drag the pointer to Seymour in Victoria (It says Seymour on the map) but in my book it changes the name to Mitchell. It does this for a number of stops. I could probably cope with one but when you go to 50 towns and you're showing off your clever Mac and all people go is I've never heard of Mitchell wheres that and I'm sure you can guess what my answer is, I don't know I've never been there. Particularly when the photo has Seymour Railway station on the photo.

Feb 15, 2012I'm using iCloud and popped a couple of images I'd just processed into iPhoto on my iMac.
Went to my MBP so I could upload the images to my website - they appeared in iPhoto in very quick time (impressive) but I needed to locate them in "finder" so I could upload them but had the devil of a time finding them, and still haven't.
I used to use dropbox for this - maybe I'll go back. It was so easy!

Feb 6, 2012How can I change the print quality when printing photos through iphoto on my iMac? I am running OSX 10.7.2 I have installed my printer with the latest downloaded drivers etc. The printer is a HP photosmart 5510. I have gone into system preferences, then print and scan. From here I can see my printer but can't see anyway of changing the print quality. Similarly, if I go into print settings via iPhoto I have the same problem. I have been able to change the quality in Safari but can't see how to create a default setting for photo printing at the highest quality

Mar 27, 2012New Macbook pro have the latest version of iphoto but it has online file sharing with MobileMe and not icloud. My new ipad has iphoto and it has projects and photo sharing via icloud. Does anyone know how to get the version for the macbook pro that has projects and icould publishing/sharing. I have checked for updates via the app store and downloaded the latest update 9.2.2 but get messages saying this version can only be updated via the app store. I have deleted the app and re downloaded from the app the store yet the version is still the same and mobile me is the sharing option.
