MacBook Pro :: IMessage And App Store Download Errors?
Aug 23, 2014
Since a couple of day I am not able to download anything from App Store it show an unknow error as well my iMessage has stopped working, I am unable to sign into my apple ID on iMessage on my MacBook Pro 13inch.
I'm unable to update the applications I've purchased through the Mac App Store. I've tried numerous workarounds (listed below), but to no avail. I've got a MacBook Pro (early 2011) running Lion 10.7.4. When I initially click either the Update or Update All (I've got multiple apps needing updates), I get error 13 after entering my Apple ID and password. I'm prompted yet again for my password for each app (why?), but then I get error 100, saying that I need to try again later.
Here's what I've tried, which have not worked for me:
* Removing Library/Caches/com.apple.appstore * Removing Library/Preferences/com.apple.appstore.plist * Clearing cache and cookies from Safari, and restarting Safari * iTunes workaround by d/l'ing a new app, then getting the T&C form doesn't apply: I don't get that form since I agreed to the latest version before this issue started. * Removing the file in Library/Cookies/ pertaining to the App Store doesn't exist for me, so wouldn't apply * Rebooting my machine * Deleting an app from my machine (only tested with a free app I don't use often), then trying to Install it; this worked back with Lion 10.7.3, but no longer works with 10.7.4.
I saw another workaround which involved creating another user on one's machine, but that seems over the top to have to get Mac App Store updates to work again. Are there any other workarounds where I could update my apps?
I'm trying to run iTunes Match and it simply stalls at stage 1. Yes, I believe I've tried the fixes listed in other places where this seems to have been an ongoing issue since launch - and not all of these work for the people there, either. These include removing stoping and starting Match, stopping and starting Genius, stopping and starting Genius and Match, moving the iTunes Library files and reimporting them as new libraries and so on. Nothing is working for me.Â
I run iTunes match and it matches "most" of my songs and then stalls. I've left it for days to see how long the stall is and it never clears.Over the last few days' stops and starts, it's matched as follows:
iTunes frequently also can't access the iTunes Store or comes up with unknown errors.this is an entirely new music library. I set up my Mac from scratch a few months ago with a new SSD. My music library had a lot of old files sampled at low bit rates - I was re-ripping to flac for my hifi, so I decided to re-rip to iTunes as well at the same time (my previous iTunes Match had lots of stuff it couldn't match, but was uploaded at a low bit rate since that was all that was available). My network connection is wired and I have very good broadband (cable) speed.
I reside in Spain and I've recently opened a joint account with a US resident here in Los Angeles at Charles Schwab bank. The financial consultant told us it's possible to deposit checks into schwab account through an app for iphone [URL]I've tried to download but it appears the following window: "your application has not been able to complete" and "The article you requested is not available at this time in Spanish Store, but is available in the U.S. Store. Click Change Store to view this article". If I click to change the Store from the Spanish to the American store, I have to fill the data but my ID apple is not working on the "foreign" store. What can I do? Is there a way to buy / download items from a different Itunes stores?Â
I have purchased OS X Lion from OS X 10.6.8 and all requirements. No action after clicking download.., I have purchased OS X Lion from OS X 10.6.8 and all requirements. No action after clicking download..
My friend bought his Macbook pro summer 2009 so whatever operating system that it came with (10.5 lepord I believe) did not download the app store when it updated. Now he wants to put lion on his macbook pro. Is there a way to download it without the app store? If not, how can he get the app store?
I have purchased Mountain Lion from the App Store. When I try to download i get a message stating that it cannot be downloaded. My Mac Book Air has the correct specifications needed but Apple won't let me download the software.
I am using a MacBook Air 2013 model with OS 10.9.4 (Mavericks). It has a 120 GB HD with about 17 GB of free space. I am unable to download from the Mac App Store as I get an 'insufficient space available" error whenever I try to purchase a larger App (> 2 GB). After looking through the forums I can confirm the following:
- Both the Finder and "About This Mac" report that 16.5 GB of space is available.
- I have toggled Time Machine and restarted my computer with it "On" and "Off".
- The application description does not mention needing more space for installation (specifically I am now trying to download BioShock 2 which needs about 9 GB).Â
i started download this app called aerofly fs from app store and some how my cat stepped on my mpc and it got restarted. After restart when i tried to resume download from app store but the button appears to say install not resume download, i clicked on install anyway but it does not respond, i mean the button turned grey for a few seconds and comes back to a blue install, nothing happened!!! later i tried to update a few apps and the same thing happens, app store was not responsive to download.
Hi guys. I've been trying to install "mac app store" on my mac for some days now. I'm pretty new on this, so I need a little help. I've installed all the available updates as far as I know, but I haven't got the app store update. When I search for new updates, it simply won't find some.
For the past few months it has been a pain trying to download from the apps store. I'm trying to reinstall some of my apps, and all I get when I hit the install button is the little round circle next to the back & forward buttons. This happens when I try to update apps also. The actual download never starts. Here's some details about my computer: MacBook Pro 17-inch, Mid 2010Processor 2.66 GHz Intel Core i7Memory 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M 512 MBSoftware Mac OS X Lion 10.7.4 (11E53)I've logged out of all of my devices too.
I have a mac mini with 2GB ram, 50 GB free memory, and a core 2 duo. The app store says it won't download Lion "This version of Mac OS X 10.7 cannot be installed on this computer."
i cant download apps thats 2 dollors it saysPlease contact iTunes support to complete this transaction. then There was an error in the App Store. (100)
I purchased OSX LION from the app store and supposedly should be able to download it to the Mac's in my house. Imac worked, no problem. But Macbook (OS 10.6.8 and Intel Core 2 duo) hasn't worked. The macbook ends up restarting before Lion is downloaded and then I start all over again. What am I doing wromg.Â
I live in Colombia. My Apple ID is from the United States. Yesterday my uncle who lives in Alaska bought for me 2 iTunes Gift Cards of 15 dollars. I exchanged the codes and now I have in my ID 30 dollars. But when I go to purchase OS Lion, I click in Download app and the Mac App Store ask me to change my billing data. I created my Apple ID many years ago without a Credit card. So I click Finish but the Download does not start. Â Â
I have satellite Internet with low bandwidth limits meaning that updating software is nearly impossible without packing up my iMac and bringing it to a library or some other open WiFi spot. I brought my laptop to the library and updated it with the newest iPhoto, but I would like to update the copy I have on my iMac.Â
When I search for OS X Lion in the app store as directed on Apple's site, all I get are some related books and a few random apps not the system software itself. When I click the "upgrade to Lion" buttons on Apple's site, I get a message saying Safari can't open the page because it doesn't recognize an address starting with "macappstore." I get a similar message when I use Firefox. The whole thing is very circular; the upgrade buttons lead nowhere, and the app store doesn't seem to sell Lion. Any ideas as to what's happening, or, more important, where I can buy Lion online?
I was trying to download Dr. Web, the virus scanning software but it hung up and is just sitting there, 3/4 of the way downloaded. How do I cancel the download? I was trying to install the MacOSX combo as I saw in another post to re-install the App Store, but it won't finish downloading, saying "Waiting for other installations to complete".

I recently discovered that an app I previously purchased is no longer on my iPhone or iMac. When I log in to my Apple account and look at my purchase history it clearly shows I paid $4.99 for it on March 11th 2011. Now if I go to the App Store to re-download it I see that it's $4.99, I assumed once I clicked on "Buy" that a pop-up would appear notifying me that it has already been purchased and ask if I would like to re-download it for free. However, when I click on it a pop-up appeared asking if I would like to buy it and that $4.99 will be charged to my credit card if I do. Has anybody heard of this happening before and more importantly does anyone know how I can re-download this app without paying for it?
I got a used iPad from my dad, who is in Canada, but my apple ID is registered stateside. I want to download the program "Viggle" but it won't find it on the app store, and when I go to the link on safari, the app store tells me my request could not be completed. I have a feeling this may have something to do with my iPad being originally registered in Canada
I've a problem with downloading applications, I believe is due to an old order is not paid, I would like to cancel but I do not know how.It 's absurd that an old order not processed blocks all free downloads ... Â
I purchased OS Lion back in Sept 2011. The other day whilst in the Appstore-My Purchases I noticed that my app list had all my apps listed as 'Installed' but OS X said 'Download'. Why would that be?
I've had this problem for a while now. I can open up the app store fine and view apps however there is a probelm when i try to install one.I click on the app, the button turns green and says 'Install app', I then click on it to install and all that happens is the loading wheel (in the top left hand corner next to the forward and back naviagtion buttons) continues to turn indefinitely.
