My question is, can I buy the APP from ebay and use it for my macbook. Also let me know the issues that I might face regarding APP when I buy it from other country. Jul 2, 2012While in Safari, I typed in internet expoler thinking I would be getting that browser to use.Immediately the screen said I won a prize and all I needed to do was click to answer a quick survey. I thought something was no right so I hit the back arrow to bcak out and a box came up saying " are you sure you wnat to leave" Lomg story short this bug will not let me exit Safari, all the options are greyed out ( like empty cache, etc.) I was able to force quit, and reboot computer, whne I went back to safari I got the same take this survey for a prize script and the only way out was to force quit.

Because quitely frankly the ones I'm receiving are irritating me largely because they're from banks I don't even have accounts with, also they're about internet banking which I don't even do. I've tried marking them as "junk mail" and then deleting them from my trash can in mail. This doesn't seem to stop me from receiving them?

I am interested in selling my Oct. 2005 Revision PowerBook G4 (1.67 ghZ 15") so that I can upgrade to a MacBook Pro before I leave for college. The easiest and most cost efficent way to do this would be through selling on eBay and using PayPal to accept payment. However, sites such as PayPalWarning.com have really given me the willies about doing it this way. I really am in no mood to have my reputation tarnished and my account left in significant debt while some fraudster buyer has my PowerBook and my money. Does anyone have any advice? Are these rare instances or are these common stories, in your experience? Is there a better way to sell on eBay, or the computer in general? I have a price in mind for what I want for it, and thus eBay or an equivilent seems the best way to go, rather than a resale shop.
