I recently switched over to icloud and I am unable to get my icalendar to sync now. When I change appts on my icalendar, they do not appear changed on my iphone, or icloud. Vis versa when I change appts on my phone. My email accounts are all syncing just fine.

I've sent a meeting request from my Mac's iCalendar to a friends Outlook 2007. They have received the email, but when opening it up, it says click the link below to accept the meeting but there is no link. Instead there is an iCal file attached to the email, with buttons to accept or reject the meeting, however they are grayed out and cannot be selected.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am able to accept/decline my icloud invites from work through my gmail account, however they do not show up on my icalendar. Why is that? I use my gmail email address as my primary icloud address. I expected all the events to show up on my icalendar.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there any way for us to set iCal so it shows the UK Bank Holidays? Is there maybe an official file that can be imported?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI Have a Question about iCal & what would be the best way to set up a calender that displays work days but also shows "Holiday" time in the same calender At the present time it has the work times set to repeat weekly but the main issue I have is when I put the "Holiday" time in I don't want the work events popping up every day on the break. I know there isn't much I can do with it but I will like to hear your thoughts.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI want an app - or something like that - that can tell me how many work days that are left from today to an other specified date. I found a little app called Days Left, but that only works with the total amount of days and doesn't exclude weekends and holidays. I've successfully made a spreadsheet in both Excel and Numbers (to check which was better) that can do this for me. With Quick Look it's almost like the little app that I wanted. The problem is, that I don't want to open up the spreadsheet every day, so Excel or Numbers can refresh the =Today() formula and thus give me the right date in Quick Look. Are there any ways I can have the spreadsheet update when Quick Looking it or in any other way without having to start up the program itself every time?

Has anyone tried to upgrade their old iMac G5 with a new Intel core Duo processor? If so how do I go about installing one?
View 6 Replies View Relatedjust purchased an intel imac (the latest) and wishes to transfer the data from the old non intel G5 to this new mac. During the procedure he has been asked for a passKEY not a passWORD and he has no idea what this is.

OS X 10.4.3 IMAC Intel Core Duo. I backed up my HD on an external drive so I could upgrade to Snow Leopard. I wanted to test that I could boot from the external drive and selected it as my start up drive. When I did a restart I got the Apple and the turning gear and then suddenly a black screen with this on it:
"May 28 22:23:11 Launched:com.apple.nibindd:respawning too quickly throttling, exited system abnormally bad system call too many failures in succession I have no name!"
I tried several dozen times with no luck. I think when I made the copy of my HD on the external HD I may have neglected to make it "bootable" (moving too quickly). My internal CDROM is busted so I use an external CDROM. I can't boot from it at all with the proper start up buttons pushed. It keeps trying to boot from the external drive. If I turn the external drive off and try to boot from the external CD I just get the grey file with the ? in the middle of it.
I tried using another external HD I have with OS 10.4 on it, but it won't recognize it either with fan, alt, shift, delete pressed at start up. My internal drive (a Seagate 2 tarabite drive) works great, but how do I reset it as the start up drive when I'm stuck with this black screen. One more thing, when I try to reset PRAM I don't get a second gong.

Shut down computer last night because after restarting it would not open. A little gear-looking circle just spins round and round. Started up computer this morning and it's the same situation . .gear circle just spins around. I know the battery is fully charged.
I'm using a different computer to write this.
After connecting the imac to a new router the system hung completely up. After each input, e.g. opening preview or a browser, the coloured turning disc appeared and nothing happened anymore. Several restarts, also in safe mode, were unsuccessful. I could not switch to another user. Restart is only possible at all from installation disc but thereafter problem remains the same.

I have a 2007 20 inch Intel core 2 duo iMac and an LG 46" LCD tv. I bought an HDMI cable and a Mini DVI to HDMI adapter but cannot get them to work together. Nothing happens when I click on detect displays in the system preferences.
Do I possibly have the wrong version on Mini DVI, for instance DVI-D instead of DVI-I?

Do the new iMacs come with 3rd Gen Intel chips?
View 2 Replies View Relatedfirst, I didnt know if this thread should be here or in Buying Tips, but anyway. My doubt is about the brand new 27 iMacs processor, If I should buy a more GHz one, but with only two cores, or should I buy little bit less GHz one, but with four cores.
It really worth pay $200 more? It really worth the four cores? My main needs are run CS4, some Final Cut, maybe Logic Studio, and switch between different OS's (OS X, Windows, and Linux). I think even a 21.5 model would be more than enough, but I just wonder If Quad Core gonna give me more power (I hope so).
