Jun 23, 2012I can no longer run iPhoto by clicking on the app icon, open images in it, or access the photos in it in any other way. Since upgrading OS my iMovie has also been upgraded to v11. I don't knoiw if this is a factor.

Sep 23, 2010My HP Scanjet 3970 has never been to happy with my Mac running snow leopard. But it has always worked in the end. But now maybe because its OSX 10.6.4 it just wont recognize the scanner is there.
Anyone know of a way around this? I can't even remember what I did last time, I know it tok days but I got there in the end! I don't use the scanner much, and this one is perfectly good, so I really don't want to have to get another one.

All users will have Standard (mobile) accounts on Active Directory domains, and will be using the Adobe CS4/VMFusion with XP/Office 2007. If I have the firewall on 'Set access for specific services and applications' will it block the applications and prompt for an admin password?

I started up again and attached another screen, the image was normal on both screens. But alone the iMac still starts up with the pixelated screen.
