Every time I try to delete my wifi certificate in Keychain Access, it continually crashes. Tried it in safe mode, still crashes. I cannot get my Airport extreme 5th gen to pass along an IP address to my Mac even though mac is connected to AE (seen via Network Utility). Thought that deleting keychain password would work.  OSX 10.10.1  retina Macbook Pro 13
Everytime I try to enter Gmail using Goggle Chrome, I get this message. Here it is the entire error message:Â Â The server's security certificate is not yet valid! You attempted to reach gmail.com, but the server presented a certificate that is not yet valid. No information is available to indicate whether that certificate can be trusted. Google Chrome cannot reliably guarantee that you are communicating with gmail.com and not an attacker. You should ensure that your clock and time zone are set correctly on your computer. If they are not, you should correct any issues and refresh this page. You cannot proceed because the website operator has requested heightened security for this domain.
In my keychain access I have the following: com.apple.kerberos.kdc and com.apple.systemdefault both show "This root certificate is not trusted" AND Dashboard Advisory shows "This certificate was signed by an unknown authority." I don't know what the notices mean (beyond the obvious that something is untrusted) nor do I know what to do about it.
I am trying to use the certificate assistant to request an certificate from CA. However I encounter this error. User interaction is not allowed. I tried to sent to email and failed too witht the same error. I have also try to repair via first aid and all are fine. Also tried to unlock my keychain but nope still can't.

I'm able to look at all my keychains, except Private Encrypted Data. Any ideas why? I've used my Mac password on every keychain, but this one I just can't open.
How to get IMovie to recognize that I changed the dates of movie clips that I had to import into IPhoto. Subsequently I deleted an event in IPhoto and the darn thing still appeared in IMovie so that option of just deleting and starting all over again seems not to work. (I did not go into trash and really delete it so IMovie might just follow the clips to Trash!) I happened to find that in the Iphoto Library is a file called IMovie Data (In Thumbnails file folder). If I delete that file, will it cause IMovie to regenerate the thumbnails and put all of my photos and clips in the data order I now have corrected in IPhoto?
Info:iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8), IPhoto and IMove are 9
I am taking my iPad, model MD333LL/A, iOS 7.1.2, to France next week. It would be useful to be able to transfer the password data contained in my MacBookPro app, Keychain, to the iPad iCloud Keychain app. can this be done? If not, is there some other way to transfer the data, or have access to it short of taking the laptop with me.
I've recently got myself a new PowerMac and re-subscribed to MobileMe, but it keeps giving me a password box for the Keychain of a old iMac G5 I sold a few years ago, how do I stop this. I've attached a picture of the problem.
When I try to save a document I get the following error message no matter how simple the document name, even if it is one letter:Â
This is not a valid file name.
Try one or more of the following:
* Check the path to make sure it was typed correctly. * Select a file from the list of files and folders.Â

I was running my iMac just in admin, which I know is frowned upon but that's the way I had it. I had a corrupt preferences file and I couldn't save any of my passwords etc Finally created a new user and reinstalled everything and it works fine. Had to replace all my passwords for my apps etc but other than that not that big a deal.
Question is can I now delete the other user now that I have a new admin login?:
It is just taking up storage space with a user which is corrupted but I don't want to erase the data in that user and also delete all my data in the new user as well.
I found that he installed an access in Keychain to my Time Capsule showing its password when he replaced my HD. When I try to delete it I am denied on my password. When I try to create a new Keychain my password is denied, so I cannot create a new Keychain and delete the old one— if that would work in this situation. I have some other issues with this dealer, an old one predating the Apple Stores. I don't like to go back to him to find out how I can get him out of my computer.
I'm sure this is a very basic question, but having just made the Mac switch a week ago...I am lost. when I did a forum search, I found out how to access keychains, but I'm not sure if I found something particular to my question- please forgive me if I overlooked something.
I was downloading microsoft software last night and all of a sudden I began getting these little pop-ups that say "A keychain cannot be found for safari" with the option to cancel or reset to default.
I forgot my admin password on my iMac recently and so i used the reboot with OS X snow leopard install disc to reset the keychain, but now on my login screen, it used to be just my account name, there is one called "Other" so i went into accounts in system preferences and tried to delete it but it isnt there?is really annoying me p.s. the "other account" isnt actually an account it says "Other" and when you click on it asks for your username and password...so i type in the admin accounts name and password (admin account is the only one on this computer), and it just opens up my admin account.
Safari keeps giving me popup windows saying a keychain can't be found. It's only just started doing this but it's really annoying. Could it have anything to do with the fact I installed a new flash player? That's the only difference I can think of.Also on another computer it keeps asking for a password to access the keychain. It only does this on one user account though. Any assistance is gladly accepted!
I've never used OSX before about a week ago, but I am picking up on it well (I've used GNU/Linux for almost ten years so I know my way around an operating system). But I don't really think keychain access is working as it should...It's hard to explain. I mean, the way I understand it, shouldn't it be saving the passwords I type into Safari and auto-filling them? Because it only auto-fills some passwords. Paypal autofills, but my bank's website doesn't, and even this forum doesn't autofill. I have to type in my password every time I visit.
Is this working as intended? Is there a way I can get Safari or Keychain to fill in all passwords for me automatically? This is leopard on an iMac G5 iSight model. I did a fresh install like a week ago. Sorry if my question is vague but that's the best I can do with the amount I understand.
I think this feature is really cool with sharing between family computers in the house. My question however is can I share it between my computer in one state and my home computer in a different state so that while I am at hotels or on the road I can access them through the internet.
I upgraded from Snow Lepord to Lion and now all the passwords I used to have in keychain are gone. I have TimeMachine, but when I try to restore I get an error message: Keychain access can't be modified or deleted because it's required by Mac OS X. All the passwords I used to have stored in there are now gone. how I can get them back?

keychain access not loading successfully after last few security updates? I can't seem to launch my keychain anymore and passwords are no longer loading for Safari?I have an MAC 3.2 Ghz Intel Core i3 running 10.6.8 with 12 GB 1333 Mhz DDR3.
I have an old iBook laptop. I want to move my keychain access passwords from that laptop to my desktop. I tried going to file > Export items in keychain, but it's grayed out. I tried about 10 different items and they were ALL grayed out. Is there a master file in the library (or whever) that I can just copy and paste into my desktop's library? I have nothing oin my desktop keychain, so I don't mind replacing it completely.
Where can I find the actual keychain data? It seems like the Mac has several "libraries" and several "keychains". I want the data that shows up in the utility.
