I tried Flash and found it good, but too expensive as I'm not going to be using actionscript and any other advanced flash thing that's in it. I also tried Pivot stick figure animator (on DarWine) but found it too limited as everything must be made of stick figures.

View 17 Replies View RelatedI just got iWork 09, and while I am loving it, there is one feature that I greatly miss and use a good deal of the time. I NEED an equation editor. I really don't care if I have to export to an image, but I need something that will let me put equaitons in iWork. It also must be free, because I blew what money I had left on iWork, Airport Extreme, and an iPod case (yes I know, I went crazy at the Apple store). I only have about $20 left, and I am saving that to upgrade my RAM at some point. if you could please suggest something, I WILL try it. For now I will be using the equation editor from Openoffice 3.0 to do my equations, but that is hopefully only temporary.

View 3 Replies View Related I have a HP All-In-One C5180 printer, scanner, copier, card reader.Every-time there is a MacOSX update then the scanner no longer responds.I have it connected to my AirPort Extreme wired ethernet, and I access it wirelessly; and also I have tried connecting it directly to my MacBook Pro via wired ethernet also.I don't have a USB cable, and don't want to go that routeIt had worked fine for some time, and like I wrote after some software update it doesn't respond.
I am tired of uninstalling and reinstalling the HP software, in the past it worked to fix the problem, but nowadays this "fix" isn't working for me.What i would like to explore now is if there is a way I can use the scanner with another software, preferably a free one.

Google was joined by Mozilla and Opera as browser vendors that would be including support for the new codec, dubbed WebM. Mozilla's Firefox currently does not support H.264 because doing so would require purchasing a license from the ISO.WebM is, as the name suggests, targeted at the web and not intended to replace H.264 across the board. View 3 Replies View RelatedAs a recent convert from PowerPoint to Keynote 09, I can't figure out how to do the following: In PowerPoint, I'd often have text animations (e.g. bullet points would appear in a certain way when the mouse clicked) such that the bullet points would appear in groups. For example, the first two would appear together, then on the next mouse click, the next three would appear at the same time. In Keynote it seems you can do this, but the bullets don't appear together, the second will only appear when the first has finished "appearing". Is it possible to get the bullets to appear in groups on a mouse click?

View 7 Replies View Relatedwatch Youtube vids using H.264 MP4 codec instead of flash. As most of the videos I watch are recent uploads (last year or so) they have SQ and HQ H.264 version available. As Flash eats up system resources worse then anything I can think of at the moment, I am trying to find a way to force the videos to play in MP4 format. I know ClicktoFlash has this option for Safari, but I am trying to find out if there are any other ways to do this without user input (for playlists). I use YousableTubeFixURL for Chrome and Firefox which has the option to do this, but no matter what option I choose, it always plays using Flash. I know FF doesnt have a built in MP4 player, but I though I heard of a way to get VLC or Quicktime to play it.

We do not want to hover around my laptop to watch a movie In about 90% of these iDVD created DVDs I get an error message from iDVD that there was a problem during encoding and if we try to watch them throgh the TV/DVD player then the film just stops about 75% of the way through.
