Finally updated to LION and I'm trying to incorporate iCloud and it's services. At the moment, I'm attempting to use iCal across the board. I have found it incredibly easy to subscribe to a family members iCloud calendar on my iPhone but incredibly difficult to do the same from my Macbook Pro. The family member uses an iPad and syncs this calendar to iCloud. How do I access this calendar from my Macbook?Â
This is just a little rant but it really feels like Google makes stuff like this easier to do on my Apple products that Apple does..

I have just migrated from mobileme to icloud. I now have no calendar on my ipad and only one child's calender (out of three childrens +2 other calendars) shows up on my macbook and entries are changed to wrong days. I recently downloaded a local college baseball schedule to iCal on my Macbook. It shows up in my iCal calendar on my Mac. It has not shown up on my iPhone via iCloud. When I sync my iPhone I do not use any syncing buttons because everything is supposed to be synced via iCloud. This new calendar shows up in my Mac iCal but nowhere else (iCloud calendar or iphone calendar). What am I forgetting to do? I've ebven tried syncing with my cable, no difference.

Messages I sent from my IMac using my Fuse email account don't show up in my sent messages on my IPad mail app and visa versa. I have icloud setup for both my IMac and IPad. My iphone behaves the same way as my ipad. Despite having iCloud enabled for mail on all three devices the sent mail does not sync or show up on any device except the one it was sent from. Is there a way to make the sent messages folder on all 3 devices show all the sent messages (for some recent timer period)?

I can't seem to have my mac linked via icloud to my ios devices. When I buy a song on my ipad, it will imediately show up on my iphone and vice versa. However, nothing shows up on my mac itunes. As well, if I buy a song through itunes on my mac, nothing shows up on either of the ios devices. I have icloud turned on on my mac. View 1 Replies View RelatedI've just activated iCloud on my MBA for the first time and pleased to see contacts on my iPhone/iPad have synced nicely. I've activated the music automatic download function within both the iPhone and iPad. I just wondered if that is all I need to do to get a new download of a song or movie etc on the iPhone/iPad to appear on the MBA or is there another setting somewhere in the Mac I need to check?Â
Also with iCloud activated and always signed in on the MBA does this impact on its battery life much? Can't say I noticed any difference on the iPhone or iPad.
I just switched to the cloud email service. Yesterday my mail worked on all 3 of the G5s I use. Today I can only get mail on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4s.
