ITunes :: All Music Is Gone After Updating IPhone 4?
Apr 13, 2012
After updating my iphone 4, all my music disapered, and when i tryed to download it again on itunes music store, it said that i have to buy it again. Is there a way I can get it back whitout buying it again.?
I have a new-to-me MacBook (running Lion) and I just downloaded all my music into iTunes. I had been sync'd with an old PC laptop previously. If I choose to sync my iPhone (4S) with iTunes on the MacBook, will it delete my apps and data (as the warning in iTunes leads me to believe)? I do use iCloud backup on the iPhone, and I've got all kinds of apps installed (and arranged to my liking). What's the best way to have my music sync with the MacBook without having to reinstall my apps?
I have an older Power PC eMac that is running iTunes 9.2. I want to load up my new iPhone 4S with music and iTunes won't recognize it in devices. How can I do this? It is ridiculous to think that I would have to upgrade my mac in order to put music on my iPhone.
I recently transferred my itunes from my old macbook to a new one. I authorized the new computer for itunes. Now itunes only recognizes my iphone when it is plugged in to charge it, but I cannot add music from itunes to the iphone on the new computer. How to fix the settings to be able to add music to my iphone from computer?
I have my iTunes from before on my PC. I did the transfer purchases, but not all of my music transferred from IPhone to Macbook. I used to internet for some of my music such as Youtube to Mp3. Am I simply out of luck since I did not purchase all my music through Itunes?
I update my computer to osx 10.6.8, i have itunes 11.3 and my iphone is running ios 7, i plug my phone in my mac, connects to itunes , but i can not drag any songs onto my phone..
I currently had another mac with my itunes on it and since I got a new mac, I decided to download all my songs in it. I did it through icloud as it is the easiest way to download songs from my old library to the new one. I have songs from cd's that I burned to my iphone and itunes won't let me add those songs! why icloud did not download those songs, but now i'm trying to download the existing songs from my iphone to my itunes library and it won't let me! I also try to "manually sync music" but it tells me that it's going to delete all my music from my iphone and replace the music with the library in the new mac. If I do that, then I won't have the music from the cd's anymore!
I used to sync on an office pc with my Iphone. All music was fine but now I no longer work there and want to sync all music on phone to mac PLUS when I downloaded a purchased cd to my mac it wont go to my Iphone. Any ways to make this all happen?
I bought an iPhone 4S about a month ago and used iTunes from my old pc to sync songs. More recently, I bought a Macbook Pro. When I try to sync songs into the iPhone through the Mac iTunes, nothing is transferred. The pictures are syncing correctly through iTunes, but songs on the iTunes library are not. What should I do to transfer songs?
For some reason some of my iTunes music won't sync to my iPhone 4. All my software is up to date and I have the playlists I want copied over as you would if you wanted to add them to the phone's library. Maybe my settings are wrong or something. A few screenshots are attached for your convenience.
I recently bought a mac and transferred all my music over from my iphone, but i messed up and deleted the user account that had all of that info on it. is there any way to get that back or transfer my music and pictures back to my computer from my iphone?
I recently bought an album via iTunes Music Store on my iPhone 4S, but I can't seem to figure out why it isn't syncing to my iTunes account on my computer. I am not using iTunes Match cloud or anything. This was happening even with automatic downloads set on iTunes, but I have since turned it off because I have bandwidth limits for my satellite Internet. One of the reasons I bought the album on my iPhone was so I could download it at a public WiFi.
I have two separate Apple IDs and while I understand I can't merge them, can I get the music from both into one itunes library and then sync my iphone with this library. I just want to be able to listen to music from my new and older account on the same iphone.
I need help getting my music from my older ipod onto my new iphone. i have a mac which i thought would make it easier but i don't understand. when i go to sync it it says that its going to erase and replace the music in my library but i dont have music on my laptop yet.
My iPhone has finally hit capacity, mostly with music.I don't want to delete things from my library, because my comptuer has plenty of space, but I want to limit what gets sync'd to my iphone. I.E. There is old music that I don't listen to regularly anymore that I don't want on my iPhone, but I would still like to keep.I know one option would be to create a playlist and just sync that playlist, but I don't want to have to drag new stuff into a playlist every time (Because I know I will forget.)
I can't add music to my iPhone 4s using iTunes on Macbook Pro. I can add the music to my iTunes library though. When I drag the music to the iPhone, it just kicks it back out. I can add music to my iPhone using iTunes on a PC, so I don't understand what the problem is. I am using the latest version on Lion and the latest version of iTunes.
I am syncing all of my music library to my iPhone via iTunes on a MacBook Pro. There are only a very few albums not showing up. These have NOT been bought off iTunes - they are older than iTunes I put them on the computer from CDs.But for the same artist - about half of the music shows up - it seems to be whole CDs that don't. I tried highlighting the songs and making sure they actually had an artist - they do. They have albums listed, too. I have no idea what is going on. This is also on my husbands phone - but for a different artist (different computer, too and he has an iPhone 4s, I have an i4)
I have 8 gigs of audio on my iphone. I have the could and don't need this music on my phone.I have 4 gigs in music and 4 gigs in purchased. I went to Itunes and highlighted songs, hit delete, nothing happend.
My itunes decided to randomly stop syncing all of the music and playlists to my iphone after the last download, how do I get it all back onto my Iphone? It currently only has 151 songs on it for some odd reason...
I previously had a Macbook with all of my music from my iPhone stored on it. When getting a new computer I logged into my existing iTunes account but not all of the songs that I had on my old computer and phone showed up. I noticed that the songs that aren't on my new computer are ones that were not purchased on iTunes (ex: downloaded from a cd). Is there any way to directly transfer all of the songs that are currently on my phone to my iTunes account on my new computer?
I transferred a whole heap of music onto iTunes on my Mac from my old PC, and then made a playlist and synced with my iPhone. As I listened, I deleted almost half these songs (there were 170 songs at first) directly from my iPhone by swiping across and pressing delete. My problem now is, I now have more music I want to add to my phone from iTunes, but I don't want the 85 odd songs that I deleted to be synced back onto the phone.
Is there any way I can make the two devices match up so that the songs on my Mac and not on my iPhone will delete from iTunes? I could always go through manually, but that will be tedious and not something I really want to do.
All of my music purchased from iTunes is gone from my iPhone. When I open the app the page is blank. On my iPad I can open the app and see the music but cannot play anything or go to another page. All other apps and Internet work fine including iTunes Store. I have the latest updates. I want my music where did my songs go?
