ICloud On Mac :: Cannot Add Calendar Events - Account Has Exceeded Quota
Jun 30, 2014
This account has exceeded the iCloud quota. Please contact customer support. How can I determine what data limits have been exceeded? And in what categories? I don't think I've exceeded any capacity limits.
iCal events from not showing on iCloud calendar on my MBP, Lion 10.7.4. They also don't show up on my PC on iCloud calendar. However they DO show up on mg iPod Touch Calendar. I have looked at all the settings both in iCal and iCloud, read all of support files and websites for both, but I am missing something.
Info: MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.4), 13-inch, Mid 2010
The events I entered into my Calendar on my Macbook, have not shown up on my iPhone. Both devices are synced with iCloud and both have Calendar box checked. What's wrong?
I created several calendars on my MacBook and placed them on iCloud. I can view the events on my iPad and MacBook, but when I logged onto icloud, that calendar is empty for June and July with only one event for August. Do I have to add these calendars again to the iCloud??
I noticed that I had duplicate cards in Contacts and events in Calendar. Looking at Preferences / Accounts I saw that I was somehow logged into iCloud twice as it was listed twice in the left column. I checked the iCloud settings and couldn't see anything untoward. I've un-enabled one of the iCloud accounts which has solved the problem from a useage point of view, but the duplicated iCloud account is still visible.Possible things that caused the issue:
1) I signed out of iCloud on my work machine and back in again a day later earlier this week
2) I edited my email address on the 'Me' card in contacts as my work email was misspeltÂ
Whenever I update anything on my shared calendar, all those who subscribe to it get an email/notification about what I've changed or added. Same if someone who I'm subscribed to updates anything on their calendar, I get an inbox full of emails telling me they have done so. Am I able to stop sending these update emails/notifications? And/or is there a setting to stop receiving these update emails/notifications?
I have set up an Imap account using my Mac Mail (Version 3.6 (935/935.3)). It all works great, and so forth except that somewhere along the lines my mail is being deleted off the server. It's important to note that this is NOT deleted mail - which should be, and is being, deleted - but mail I wish to keep. I cannot decipher exactly how it decides what to delete, but I seem to have quota's enforced - but when I try to set quota's (under -> account info -> quota's ) I cannot set anything.
It tells me that "this account supports quota limits", but it won't let me adjust them? As best I can tell it's deleting mail older than 1 month or 200 messages or a size (indeterminable). I sync with my iPhone mail app, also using the Imap, and it has an option to "display" xxx messages. Currently this is set to 200 (the max option), I cannot deselect it and cannot select more than 200. I figure, however, that this refers to how many messages are displayed on my phone, not the limit stored on the server.
Apparently I allowed iCloud to delete all of my calendar and reminder information from my Mac.Can I restore it from iCloud, if not can I restore it from Time Machine?
I have been using Apple Calendar for quite some time but after I upgraded to Yosemite All day events does not show in the calendar any more. Other events in my calendar is showing.Â
Environment:
1: I'm on Macbook Pro Retina, running Yosemite 10.10.1
2: Calendar is version 8.0 (2026)
3: I am using Google Calendar, added as account to CalendarÂ
Problem/Bug:
This has been working fine on Maverick until this upgrade and I think it is a bug in Calendar.
1. I tried to add an all day event from Calendar, using my Google account calendar
2. Event is saved, but once saved it isn't shown in Calendar.
3. When I login to my Google account calendar, the event I created just created is shown nicely there!Â
I then tried adding a new calendar using my iCloud account, but same thing happened:
1. I tried to add an all day event from Calendar, using my iCloud account calendar
2. Event is saved, but once saved it isn't shown in Calendar
3. I once again try, this time by logging into my iCloud account, the event I created just created is shown!Â
This is really weird and a major issue as all-day events are kind of important to see when you are planning and scheduling meetings.
One additional thing, I'm not sure if it is related, I have Time zone support turned on as I am working across multiple time zones.Â
Info: MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)
Is there a way to print/save as a PDF a calendar without the times showing up with the events? I really don't want to make them "All day" events b/c I don't want the highlight showing up, either!
ICal has decided it won't allow any more new Events, not from invoking New Event from the File menu and not from entering directly into the calendar itself. On click-drag in the calendar, a little box opens, just as though I were about to be able to enter a new Event, but on releasing the trackpad button, the box disappears.
I have to clean up my calendars in ical.app. At the moment, there are around 10 different calendars mixed from fragments of an Outlook import, mobile phone import, Entourage fragments, new ICal calendars. Can I display all events of a calendar at once in a list, to mark and delete unimportant or double events? Is there a easier way, to edit multiple events from one calendar to another (I have to export a calendar, delete it after export in ical and import it in the calendar, I want it to live in)?
I want to be able to create a calendar event by either typing a name and getting a dropdown list from Contacts, or by clicking on a contact and getting the option to create an event. Phone numbers and addresses would then be available in the calendar instead of having to separately looking up the contact info.
Subsequent to Yosemite or updates, my repeating calendar events can not be updated as before. When I update an event (of a repeating event) on my MacBook Pro; its reverts back when I shut it down and come back, and doesn't update other devices?Â
I've activated icloud and its caused problems with my calenders. if i stop it will i loose all my calender events. Its duplicated and removed some for my mobile devices.
I belong to a club and shortly they are moving to Google Calendar as a way of publishing their events on-line. From what I have read else where, it is possible for them to publish their events publicly, so that they are searchable and anyone can add them to their own Google calendar.
Would it then be possible for me to view their public Google calendar in iCal? If not, could I achieve the same out come by setting up my own intermediate Google Calendar, which took the clubs feed, and then use iCal to view that? I don't wish to share information back, just add their info to my own calendar automatically. So that if an event is added/deleted or changed, my calendar is automatically updated when I view it.
I have Imac. When we moved from mobile me to icloud, the calendar no longer pushes to icloud.Message in calendar is: The calendar url... was not found on the server. Make sure the URL is correct.
I was looking for an old appointment in iCal and have realised that since I started using iCloud, all my previous events are missing from my Mac.  I have tried opening Time Machine but it doesn't seem to want to open iCal.If I untick all the iCloud calendars in iCal leaving only "On My Mac" ticked I end up with no events at all.
All of a sudden iCal from my Macbook Pro has stopped syncing up to iCloud, though events added on my iPhone and iPad are showing up fine on iCal. After poking around a bit I found the following (clicking on the little "alert" icon in the Calendars dropdown popped up the error).
The syncing stopped a few days ago and I don't remember making any major changes to my setup that might have triggered this. Restarting iCal and rebooting the computer didn't help.
I've recently updated my MacBook Air to the Lion OS (10.7.3). I've been frustrated over the fact that calendar events entered into iCal through my MacBook Air don't appear on my iPhone 4 (running iOS 5.1). However, when I create a calendar event on my iPhone, it does appear in iCal on my MacBook Air.Â
I've got iCloud running on both devices and have Calendars turned on. Both have the same iCloud account set up in the "Mail, Contacts & Calendars" setting.Â

With iCloud, there are double entries when looking at All Contacts, and so things Contact details like event have double entries on iCal too. Since all Contacts are made on iCloud now, Should all Contacts be deleted from My Mac?
All of a sudden, my iCal will not sync with iCloud. My iPhone still syncs, and events put into iCal on my phone push to my Mac, but not vice versa. iCal on my Mac SAYS it's "Updating", I'm not getting any error messages, but any new events put into iCal on my Mac do not update via iCloud. What happened?
