i've recently purchased a copy of Adobe's web design package and while I have not experienced any problems with the other applications, Illustrator and Photoshop keep unexpectedly quitting within minutes of me using them. I already had copies of both these programs but I did use the Adobe uninstaller so I didn't think this would be a problem. I've sent reports to Apple.

Microsoft Word, Photopshop, Illustrator an Avery CD Sticker maker all give me the problem report window with the yellow trianlge and exclmation point when I try to open them and say:Â "____ has quit unexpectedly. Click reopen to open the application again. This report will be sent to Apple automatically." Â Clicking reopen offers the same thing again, and again, and again.It started yesterday with Photoshop and Illustrator, so I took them off my computer and tried to reinstall them. Now I get "Install Photoshop has quit unexpectedly. etc.."Â I ran the disc utility and it said my hard drive was OK.Â

I'm a UI designer so I use Adobe CS products every day at work. The company I just started gave me a Apple's mighty mouse (codeless mouse) and I found it very erratic. While I'm working on Illustrator and Photoshop documents I use mouse and Option/Command/Shift keys on the keyboard simultaneously to create mockups. Even though my finger is not touching the surface of the mouse the documents moves right and left, zoom in and out by itself. This erratic behavior happens only in Illustrator, Photoshop and Google Maps so I was wondering if this is a known issue in Adobe products or the mouse I got happens to be defective.

The system runs well (yes, even though it is Windows) but I wish to move to Mac and ditch the Windows world. I plan to use Logic Pro so need a Mac. I have 2 x 24" monitors that set me back 700�. I was thinking to keep those and perhaps buy a Mini Mac. The mini Mac can support 2x displays.
My big question is this: If I went for the 2.66Ghz Intel Duo Core Mini Mac with 8gb RAM, would this tun Logic Pro without any problems? Would it also run software like Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator / Premiere without hanging or being very slow? Who has a mini Mac and currently has these softwares installed? Please advise? Should I simply sell everything and go for an iMac?
Are you using the Mac or Windows version, (via Bootcamp/Fusion)? Which version is better to buy, Mac or Windows? If you read in the adobe user forums it seems a lot of Mac users buy Adobe Suites in the Windows version and run it via Bootcamp? Or, am I mistaken? I'm about to order CS4 Design Premium and I want to make sure I order what's easiest to learn and best to use.

Recently Mac OS X has been quitting unexpectedly, and I have no idea why. This is my first time posting here, and I don't really like signing up to forums but this is a crisis. My problem is, I cannot open any application whatsoever. I can only open up Firefox, but everything else just jumps around the dock for a second and the error message "the application ______ quit unexpectedly". So if you try to open it again, it just bounces around the dock and the error message appears again. I've uninstalled the apps, and installed them again...NOTHING.
This only started happening after I updated to the Security Update 2010-004 (1.0). I know for sure that's the culprit, but I don't know what to do. It's putting me through so much stress, I almost feel like crying. The worst part is, when I click system update, the system update itself jumps around the dock and disappears to only have that "the application _____ quit unexpectedly".
Having a bit of a problem with my mac was hoping someone could help me. Have a mac book with os.x 10.5.6 but every time I close over my mac and reopen it a black screen appears with the power symbol in grey saying that mac os.x has quit unexpectedly and for me to either hold down the power button for the restart or switch it off. At one point I reinstalled PS3, but now I have the problem again.I often have problems with large format files in PS3. It was working fine, but after a couple of hours it "unexpectedly quit....". I have relaunched, tossed preferences, etc. When I force quit, the PS3 icon in the dock still shows up with the dot and the Force Quit window shows up with no indication that there is a problem. When I try to reboot many times I have to use the power button on the mac. Finally i got PS3 to open...I opened up a different file and it worked fine, but the large format file tried to open and it came up with "Could not complete your request because of a program error." Photoshop locked up. Do my large file formats get corrupted for some reason?I have a MacPro, Dual-Core Intel Xeon, 2.66 GHZ, 2 processors, and 16G B memory...There should not be a memory problem with this machine. Why do I always have problems with a large format file?

This week I have several programs that are quitting unexpectedly, or will not open all of a sudden. Photoshop CS, office 2004, and even the Appleworks programs. They all refuse to open. I uninstalled PS and the office products, and then tried to reinstall and couldn't even do that from the install disk. I did do a disk repair scan, but it said there was nothing wrong with the disk. And I'm getting some SymSecondary launch(whatever that is) failure as well.

My internet hung so I forced shut it down, restarted in Safe Mode, exited it and started it on the normal mode. I opened skype in safe mode and it was fine! but after that, when i exited safe mode, the error message that skype is quitting unexpectedly keeps showing up! ive tried everything - deleted the files in the skype folder, reinstalled skype but nothing works!
