After weeks of trying to download Flash player to Safari, I removed the program using AppZapper and downloaded a new Safari which behaved beautifully. What puzzles me is that when I opened this new Safari, it contained all my favorites and Bookmark bar bookmarks. Is there a ghost in the system or did AppZapper miss something?

I also get no response to delete and other options. I suspect this is because I'm running a very old version of safari. Secondly, I want to download Flash player. I have been trying to download adobe flash player so I can use youtube. I install it, open it in my downloads, Click install adobe Flash player, and then click open when it asks me if I want to open application downloaded from the internet. After I click open I put in my password, click next, then as adobe trys to download it will get to 50% the stop and say Safari needs to be closed to continue. However safari and everything is already closed. I am able to download Adobe Flash Player.

For some reason that I can�t explain I am unable to watch any youTube videos on my iMac. I have "click to Flash" installed and can watch flash content on all other sites. When I login to my account at youTube I also need to click to flash but then I get instead of the video, a "go Upgrade". I took this to mean that the flash player needed upgrading so I agreed to download the latest Flash Player and installed it. This has made no difference. I even went so far as to create a new YouTube account with a different e-mail address but nothing helps. Can anyone please give me some advice what I can do or try to get to watch the YouTube videos?
This problem is only when I use Safari. Using Firefox I can watch youTube.

I have had a lot of issues with Adobe Flash Player causing grief in Safari, and now it is causing it to crash. I am on a clean installation of OS X (just formatted and reinstalled yesterday).
I should point out that I use Adobe CS4 and have Flash CS4 installed. Maybe that is causing a conflict?
Good morning, I recently updated my software via Software Update yesterday, and I noticed that I can no longer play Flash videos in Safari. I just get the generic lego block and it says that Flash unexpectedly quit. I'm running the most recent Safai and Snow Leopard, and have included a screenshot of the updates that I ran yesterday. I also tried to run Camino and FireFox, but they just quit when I get to a Flash video. I also tried to install the most recent Flash player, and also the newer beta Flash player, but none seem to work. Anybody know of any fixes? Do I have to reinstall Snow Leopard?

I'm using Safari 4, anyone else having this problem?
